If I were at one point in a discussion, to state that when I was younger, I used to be an astronaut and had been to the moon, and you called me a liar....It would not be up to you to give a reason for your statement of calling me a liar.....it would be up to me to show proof

And in response, the clubhouse crew rallied with the TROLL being the most loyal lapdog. A meaningful discussion is something you have over coffee with people you know...face to face, not with an unknown entity through a computer screen where the other person could be a ten year old kid with a lot of internet savy or as in the case of Cannuck a 40 year old acting like ten ☺☺☻
To me, this is a playground to take a dig at narcissistic know-it-alls...(both male and female) who seem to think their shît don't stink...

Ahem! Back to the topic; The plan for the environment looks good but it isn't done yet, is it? Will it ever get done? I doubt it very much!
I think the environmental situation is being addressed bass ackward. They want the manufacturers of the products which produce the pollution to find ways to manufacture without polluting. That is neither possible or realistic.
Now, if the demand for those products was reduced, the pollution would be reduced. If the population were reduced the demand would be reduced. The use of polluting products would also be reduced if everyone made a sincere effort. Automobiles are the big polluters. But people want bigger, faster vehicles. Hell, they won't even slow down to reduce gas consumption!. Just one example.
The polluting industries are necessary to the economy and there's the problem. The greed for profit will always exceed everything else.
In the '70s compact cars was the big thing. Little 4 cylinder runabouts. That didn't last long. Soon everyone wanted a van or an SUV or a truck. Now hybrid cars have come on stream but they aren't gaining much popularity either. For obvious reasons.
I really think the environmentalists mean well but they are pixxing against the wind and its blowing right back in their faces.
