Here is a fellow African-Amecan's view:

Walter E. Williams : Can Black Americans Afford Obama? - Townhall.com

Don't forget to read of the comments, many from African-Americans.

Williams is a right wing extremist, I have read some of his columns. He has to be, if he is going to publish in TownHall. A right wing extremist, a teabagger trashing Obama. Big surprise there.

As to comments being from African Americans, we don't know that. Anybody can claim he/she is African American, there is no way to verify that claim.

This quote came from the Czech Republic .
Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

He is all our fault, we have no one else to blame.

He should fit right in with the Obama cult.

Mystery S.C. nominee has pending felony charge

Wed Jun 9, 3:36 pm ET

Alvin Greene has been on the phone all day. That's to be expected for the guy who just won South Carolina's Democratic Senate primary and is facing incumbent Republican Jim DeMint in November. But everyone calling Greene has just been trying to find out who the heck he is — and one thing reporters learned Tuesday is that a criminal complaint was sworn out against him last year for allegedly showing obscene photos to a South Carolina college student and suggesting they go to her dorm room.

I personally think Obama is doing a great job. But if somebody from the Republican side thinks that he is not, of course the fault lies with the people for electing him. People get the government they deserve. Americans deserved Bush, that is why they voted for him twice.

Does it really matter who the Democratic nominee is in South Carolina for any post (or what he has done)? In S.C., Mother Teresa herself would lose to Jack the Ripper, if she were a Democrat and he were a Republican. Republican is going to win, election is just a formality.

Bush may be in the past, but the echoes of his mistake reverberate even today. We are still trying to overcome the Bush economic meltdown.

We are suffering the consequences of neglect of any regulations on businesses by the Republican administration, which resulted in BP neglecting to take any safety precautions and resulted in the current disaster.

Here are the views of another African-American about President Obama:

Larry Elder : Obama and Economics: Intellectually Clueless - Townhall.com

Here is the assessment of Obama by a raging CONSERVATIVE, who happens to be an African-American:

Embattled Rangel Compares Obama to Bush, Cheney - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

Not another right wing extremist, YJ. Elder is an extremist. As to Rangel, he is a Democrat, and his criticism may have some substance (same as if Rangel criticized Bush, it would mean nothing, but if Elder criticized Bush, it may carry some weight). At the end of the day however, I am sure Rangel would support Obama.

Anyway, he is criticizing Obama from the left, not from the right. He is criticizing Obama for continued stay in Iraq. I am sure Larry Elder would disagree with him there, and claim that we indeed should stay in Iraq.

If Obama is being criticized from the left (Rangel) and from the right (Elder), then his policies are about right.

Obama faces rare defeat on health help for jobless

Congress allowed emergency health care assistance for unemployed workers to expire May 31, and seems unwilling to renew it despite pleas from President Barack Obama.

Not three months after lawmakers passed his $1
trillion insurance overhaul, Obama is facing a rare defeat on health care at the hands of his own divided Democrats. Moderates have rebelled against adding billions more to the deficit in a treacherous election year.

"The same Congress that spent all this
political capital trying to get people health insurance is going to take a crucial benefit away from unemployed people," said Andrew Stettner, deputy director of the National Employment Law Project, which advocates for the unemployed.
