SJP - Really - How about crime and conviction rate in the US 90% because they lay so many different charges they only have to convict on one - or the shoveling out of the stimulus that will not be used for years but goes to a significant number of Democratic ridings - How the rise of any criticism of Obama is Racism - we saw how the press handled him with kid gloves during the run in 2008. The press is acting the same way that they did with Bush and his call to war on Iraq - you fail to notice or overlook the similarities. Blindness by the press - And then picking a fight with Fox - Should have taken and still can take the high road - Be Presidential - Take them on point by point - pick the topic, the terrain and nail them - Don't get on a high horse and complain.
But then again - a closed mind is one that fails to learn or scared to? Or are you afraid of agreeing with some salient points he brought forward?
In my opinion, it was written by a thief who thinks he's so far superior to the rest of the world that there is little chance that the author has any connection to reality.
He's an asshole, and his wife is just as bad.
Therefore, I think his opinions are not worth considering, because he's a crook and an asshole.

Raed about what he was convicted of - immerse yorself in the US Justice system that plea bargianing is the only way out as they lay so many charges - But he was a success in business was he not? In Canada he would not have been convicted -

He fleeced and stole money from the employee pension plans of several companies, and treated other shareholders like servants, whose only role was to support his lifestyle.
He was a crook, and I'm glad the US nailed him. His friends in Ottawa would never have stopped him from stealing.

3 threads on the Big O are up only because the fellow fluked into a peace prize. Harpy hasn't done anything worth noticing for a week or so. Give it time. Once there's a slack on news about the Big O the threads will drop off the main menu. I am not surprised that someone as smart as you think you are needs to have that explained to you.
Joey has a man crush on Obama, that's for sure. Something must be lacking at home. He will be starting Obama threads for years to come.
Can there ever be closure for the Greatest President the U.S. has had in the past 40 or so years. This man has done so much, won a Nobel Peace Prize for breathing, who else can claim such a deed? Any other accomplishments he may be credited for will be due to the Democratic party ramming what ever into new laws. The rich will still get richer and the poor will get poorer and Obama will keep on smiling all they way to the bank.

What I have noted from the worshipers of the New Democratic religion of Obama is as follows:
1- The US won't elect Obama and that will prove they are racists as many Liberals/Democrats stated- it would never cross a persons mind that perhaps polices would have something to do with electing or not electing a person. This to Dem's was all about racism if Obama lost. They conveniently forget Iowa - White -Mid West Rural - Small Town - America - He won a large victory that set the pace for other States - The US was tired of Bush and his lies - the War - Deficits - the Financial Crash - the list goes on. Obama wins in a landslide without really saying to much about what he would have as hard and fast on policies.
2- If you criticize him - you are either one or all of the following - Red Neck - Illiterate - Racist - Republican/Conservative Stooge - Just plain dumb -
3 - Anti -Obama is against the will of their new religion and against the US, Mom and Apple Pie. You will be slagged and treated as one or all of the above in point no 2
4 - When you question why he received the NPP based upon the criteria of accomplishments that ended on 28 Feb 09 - you realize he was President on Jan 20 - What did he do - Speak nice to the world - Yes - It is because he was not George Bush the Lesser -
So people have a new religion and it is as dangerous as Bush the Lesser - The press followed Bush and did so without question - We all saw the same thing in the Democratic Primaries with Obama - treated with kid gloves because the press did not know how to ask questions or criticize without be slammed as Racists and it still goes on.
I do wish and want him to succeed and the US remain as a world leader economically and militarily - Look around at the other contenders for those of you that disagree-
How many times has the US put blood and treasure on the line (other countries as well)- Given trillions in economic aid -
Churchill once said and the wording is not quite correct - One day the world will look to the US to lead and they won't be there. Pity the world.
What does it mean?
It means that the far right hates Obama and feel threatened by his successes. In their quest to destroy the USA, they see in Obama someone who can fix the mess their treasonous heroes like Reagan and Bush I/II created.
That's why we see so much hate from these right wingers.
By the way, do you ever see them offer any viable alternatives to the Obama agenda? All these haters want to see is a return to the failed policies of the Reagan-Bush-Bush triumverate. Failed policies that never even came close to working. Failure for the USA is what they want. But they won't get it.
