Some more of those statistics. I thought only S.J.P. got sucked in by statistics! You must have been listening to him for too long. "Slowest economic recovery in 70 years" makes sense. It's been over 80 years since we had a real depression, the 2008 one being the worst and that was just a joke by comparison, exacerbated by Fanny and Freddy.
Are you sure about that? There have been plenty of things we were told didn't exist but did. We heard rumours of stealth technology for 15 years before we finally saw it in action in the Gulf War.
Liberals used to believe in tax cuts.....not tax increases.....who would have thunk it.......

According to the US government itself, unemployment is not dwindling as 90% of the jobs created were part time. In the meantime, thousands of people have quit looking for jobs. So the US economy not as rosey as some people think it is. It's all in how its reported and if people don't dig deep for the true stats, its misleading.
And if they DO "dig deep for the true stats," they can then cherry-pick those stats to "prove" whatever their political predisposition wanted to prove.

GOP Freaks Out Over Obama’s 8-Day Vacation
Does ANYONE remember Republicans bashing George W. Bush over his excessive vacation days? Didn’t think so. Did the likes of Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck take President Obama’s predecessor to task for having taken over a full years worth of vacation time, or roughly 20% of the total time he had spent in office? Nope. They did not.
Not to mention that currently Congress is on a 5-week vacation. In the video below, the question was asked: What are they taking a vacation from? This Congress has passed the least number of bills ever, so it’s a good question to ask. Oh, I suppose we won’t see the 41st attempt at repealing ObamaCare anytime during the next few weeks. But we’re sure that with plenty of rest, the House GOP members will get right to work on that when they get back from sipping martinis.
