It's all on the Canadian govt website, right side, right below maternity leave.
You can find it yourself, lot's of "leaves" that EI and the employer split.

Glad I do my own payroll! lol

In ALL SERIOUSNESS, if any of what you are saying that you are doing is true, you'd better pray to God that you never get audited. Because payroll liabilities is one of the few things that shareholders have liability for. Anything owing to the government in fact.

Hmmmm, smells like some one farted again.
So what, are you channeling Durry again? Trying to get in a shot because I asked you a question?

So what do you charge to do a corporate return?

$800.00 here

I'm ignoring the bear, you seem to want to discuss it.

You can ignore Bear all you want to, although that does not seem to me to be what you are doing.

As to the charge for a T2 it would vary according to size of the corporation and the work involved. Some ledgers are more involved than others, the range could be for as little as a few hundred dollars for a nil return up to 5 or 6 grand.

I dont know what kind of bussiness you have but mines a seperate entity to me,I'm a numbered corporation,as an employee of my numbered company I am also entitled to EI,if my company wants to opt in to makeing payments,as I'm the major shareholder,I can make that happen.

It's my corp,I'm the major shareholder, life is good.

I can get EI if I want it by making payments through the company.
As it is my company,I have can have a shareholders meeting with myself and vote on making ei payments, with my lawyer also voting on it.
100% BS. As SLM has just proven...

That's why the lawyers and accountants charge the big bucks, the company is a seperate entity,no shot but you obviously wont be doing my taxes in the forseeable future.

I cant get audited for my company.
The numbered company can get audited,it can also get sued,it has nothing to do with me.
Do you understand that?

You'd actually have to have a corporation to have her do them anyways...

I know what I understand and I know enough to know that you don't have the faintest grasp of it. First of all, no one has said anything about a lawsuit. Second of all each and every corporation in Canada is required to have, at minimum, one director and, in Canada, directors of a corporation have personal liability under provincial and federal statutes for, amongst other things, payroll liabilities.

Do you honestly expect anyone to believe to that you can just simply walk away from the tax man? Give your head a shake!

You may want to check out what being a seperate entity means. This isnt a small business,it's a full blown corporation with shareholders meetings and who said anything about walking away from the taxman?
I sure didnt.
If my corporation fuc*s up and gets sued then the corp. gets sued, not me.

Anyways, guess no one can show their is no such thing as stress leave under ei like I tried to explain.
Some of the posse commented before even checking it out and then dissapeared.
Too funny.

With all the payroll I've done over the last few years, and I've done a lot, I've never seen a shareholder on payroll that deducts EI. It just isn't done. And I work predominently, but not exclusively, with CCPCs.

In the last couple of years EI was changed to cover self employed. I only got the readers digest version but it does not work like regular EI. Fishermen are the only self employed with limited companies that I am aware of that get to collect regular EI. Has something to do with their work time being regulated by the federal government. Most fishermen I know refer to it as the last great Canadian giveaway.

It's all on the EI site,it's not a give away, you pay into it,like an hourly employee.
Same with maternity leave, compassionate and medical leave,it's all on the EI site.

I believe stress leave falls under medical, waiting for bear to get back to me on that.

Why? You haven't been able to follow the conversation so far. From this last silly statement, I see nothing has changed.

Unless while I was offline sleeping than working, unlike you, somehow a miraculous post where I said anything about EI showed up.

I doubt it though. That stuff only happens in your make believe world, troll.

ETA: I see you were stalking me around the board again. Tsk tsk, stalking is against the rules. You should stop that.
