If he is no longer a member of the service and is has effectively discharged - then I guess no charges will be laid against him then…right. I don't see the powers that be coming to that determination.
...

There was no longer a moral obligation to Bergdahl.

His legal status is interesting. He wasn't listed as a POW, and hadn't been discharged despite abandoning his post. Perhaps the administration shouldn't have rejoiced in a prisoner exchange, but should have said Bergdahl was being brought to justice.

I think Obama wanted to score political points, but failed to realize how Bergdahl's return would be greeted.

The right complains about everything and anything he does. It wasn't like he exchanged arms for hostages like their hero Reagan did. Instead he sent back a bunch of washed up meatballs. Big frickin deal.

Obama released the High Command of the Taliban in exchange for a guy who abandoned his comrades in arms on the battlefield. That's a pretty big fock up.

That's right out of the Democrat playbook. Say anything and their sheep will believe it.

You'd make a great community organizer here Kreskin.

If the Democratic playbook were being used we would attack Kreskin mercilessly.

Well, at least everyone that the Republican strategists can pull in front of a camera.

This is not how truth is determined.

The truth will come out in time. All you are doing is playing into a political game.

Wow.

I have rarely met anyone so determined to never admit they are wrong.

So, now all the men that this guy served with are Republican shills.

Uh huh.

Give your head a shake.

Lol. Again, why are you so eager to dive into this head first?

It is a simple fact that republican strategists are organizing press conferences for these guys to speak. That is a sure sign to me that this is becoming a circus.

I don't have a dog in this fight. He may be guilty, he may not be, I really don't give a ****. I think it was unquestionably the right thing to get him back from the Taliban, whatever happens next will be determined by the facts, not cable news and political strategists.

Never heard what you planned to do with these guys. Weren't they going to be let out in 2015 anyway? I guess a good community organizer can get something back. Free agency sucks.

It bloody well should be a circus if five of the most dangerous Taliban strategists were released to "save" a guy that deserted, and may have helped in operations against the US military.

Along with that, Emperor Obama broke the law by failing entirely to give Congress the required 30 day notice before releasing these scum.

So.......Obama set loose men determined to kill Americans, and broke the law.

The truth is that the sergeant MAY have aided the Taliban, Obama DID help the Taliban.........and broke the law to do so.

If THAT doesn't call for a circus, what does??

Why do accusations against someone make them less worthy of be afforded the basic promise that every soldier is given when the join. They promised to leave no man behind. They never qualified it with any sort of moral judgement.

You certainly can't think that it is ok to abandon a soldier because of something he may have done.

No serious issue calls for a circus. Why should anything like this be used by people who just want to score partisan political points and tv ratings?

Lol, "the truth". By that same measure "the truth" is that you may be a member of the Taliban.

No, of course not, the MSM should, of course, remain compliantly on their knees while Obama pisses on them, and tells them it is raining.

Are you serious?? Outrage at this is more than necessary.....

Obama is the worst president in 150 years. His administration is corrupt, power mad, and incompetent.

There needs to be an outcry.

That rule has never been qualified in the past, why would that change now?

This is exactly what I am talking about. You and about half the US just want to have a reason to yell about Obama.

Typical Democrat supporter...."It depends on the meaning of the word "is"....or I mean "left behind".

Try reading it in English.
