WTF are you babbling about?
Sorry forgot the effects of phobias on a (supposedly) thinking brain, carry on doing whatever.
You won't find oil and gas in that area (beside Quebec)you mind minerals and such. I would like a big metal dector for X-mas Santa, flying over a area that is 100 miles long might give you a few beeps to help you decide where to look first. How did they find the diamonds north of Yellowknife?

I love it how you are all about the free market and at the same time endorse protectionism between the provinces.
Basically it's back to grain and oil only being the export list from the west, not the first time Kiev has backed only herself, sorry that should be Ottawa obviously.

That works as it saves us having to build out own toys. We want the toys to make it back and forth across the fields more than once before need some expensive repairs not covered by warranty.

Got a fun email yesterday.

Canadian Gardening said: Put up a bat house to encourage the presence of these shy animals.

Bats consume 3,000 or more mosquitoes and other insects nightly, and bats are less likely to be rabid than dogs are.

Need another reason?

Bats are responsible for up to 95 percent of the seed dispersal essential to the regeneration of forests. Our planet is populated with plenty of bizarre and astonishing creatures.

Here are three from the Bat Family...

Sucker-footed Bat

Red-Winged Fruit Bat

Left -Winged Ding Bat

If we could just train her to eat mosquitoes... or do SOMETHING useful!

It's that speech to text program he has.......you should hear him when he talks.....
News flash (literally) No wonder you are so confused. Remember how much smooth you days goes when trap is used sparingly. Bet your clarity doesn't improve no matter what text you are reading. Throw out that last new thing you learned today so it can be given the reality check, like your newly shoveled driveway and roof, that would impress me a bit. Chop-chop.

Look if you want to paly the single digit IQ thing on Russian related threads go ahead. Whatever these guys are looking for it isn't more petroleum products from shale.

Take the above as being literal, this part below can go to that fantasy worm you have that needs to be fed
Mind you with the rock being as solid as it is if there was some found and it was put into production it might hold the gas if the tap was ever turned off.

The GOM and Hudson Bay and the Great Lakes were all carved out using the same forces. Hydro-carbons pooled in vast chambers below the crust and forces eventually fractured the crust and gas escaped at high speed and at high volume and caught on fire, as the chamber collapsed the fire came below and caused a fire or stream explosion that excavated the holes in one smooth motion. That would point to the 'impact craters' within 1,000 miles would be debris from the hole. It isn't an accident that that side is chosen as the location has that secondary inpact and the cone that is at the center would be an interesting piece of rock if you were looking for something that isn't oil or gas. It would be Canada's equivalent of the crack in the ocean floor that is in Russian territory.
Staying in fantasy land and saying that both mountains were the same, which would be easier to money if you were given unlimited money and production skills. I would go with underwater as that climate is constant all year round.

Back to reality. How many of the sites we call ancient impact sites in that area are actually locations of the earliest 'smokers'? As such are the remains of whatever bubbled up from deep below billions of years ago still there trapped in the natural rock, waiting for extraction.
There are maps available but they are pretty large and not detailed enough to show that particular area.

That is hilarious. The dollar was tanked for ON and ON only. How is he going to counter that?

Cheap CAD is good for exports, but that does no good when the mfg sector in Ontario gutted itself.

All the sudden, those cheap CAD represent really expensive financing to rebuild the glory days of mfg in the East

And those transfers will be coming are way isn't it?

hehehe... What transfers?.. The ones from oil and gas?

... Looks like Mr Wynne will have to finance her own progress now

Ok troll, I get the point, you can't understand the posts sent in your direction so you do the stupid bit again and numb-nuts jumps on the bandwagon so now if you can't understand what isn't sent in your direction then the fault is also mine. The only thing your are showing is that simple games really are examples of your best work ever. In your case, chop-chop means circumcision time, Russian style.

Be their luck to find a mountain of stuff just in time to see the value turn to dust. Some guys out west found a mountain of the rock that splits int very sharp knives and they had it all set up to sell to hospitals and then the electric one was chosen and they lost everything except a very small market that couldn't pay the bills. Time and place, if manufacturing every crashes the hospital can still have sharp scalpels.

Build it and they will come woul have to be a National dream rather than a local one. You need a buyer for the things you build. NG engines might be the norm for North America if shale gas become not store-able long term

I ah er am a little scepticle aboot the oil markets right now.
Oil exploration is the first thing that gets shut down as oil prices dip, always has been that way and it always will. That doesn't make the land useless and the prices of other things can go up even as oil comes down, or is that just back to where it should have been all along?
