Pelosi��s leadership team tells lawmakers they have no immediate plans to open impeachment proceedings after Mueller report release
Three officials on a conference call Monday night said party leaders told lawmakers that investigative committees would continue their inquiries and see where they lead. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to freely discuss the call.
Lawmakers were scattered across the country during the two-week congressional recess. Democrats are divided over whether to begin impeachment proceedings or continue their investigations.
