PETA of course stands for People for the ethical treatment of animals. I expect that within peta there are people willing to upset quite a few people in the case of their ethics being ignored. In itself that isn't a bad thing. A beautiful women showing the benefits of being vegetarian bothers me hardly at all. If someone blew up a chicken factory to protest the overcrowding and inhumane treatment of chickens I'd get pretty upset. But just let them try talking to me about these issues and Damn but I get irate. :)

There is nothing like veal liver, gravy and onions...............second only to head cheese!

you definitely need treatment for that head chease condition, its sure not getting any better. lol

It seems animal fanatics have two main problems- one is they don't mind their own business and two is they think they know more than everyone else. The other day we had our dog with us in a strange parking lot (with lots of people around) at Walmarts on a fairly pleasant summer day (26C) and the dog was barking and would not shut up.............she does that when lots of strangers are around. This rather obnoxious and pushy middle aged woman comes up and starts lecturing us that the dog needed water and the pavement was too hot on her feet. She was dead wrong on both counts.

you need dog whisperer help for that barking, the dog has a problem, then send him over to that woman, he'll fix her too. lol

I used to buy the Schneider's head cheese that comes in a round "margarine" tub, but I can't find it anywhere anymore. The stuff they slice at the Deli has too much gelatin. So yeah, I do have a "condition", it's called withdrawal symptoms!

Funny how that works, quite often the most repulsive stuff to eat becomes the most delicious once you acquire a taste for it. Can't say the same for Watson.

Paul Watson has spent most of his life trying to save the whales. It looks like he has had some success
because there is now six thousand tons of whale meat in Japan that they can't find a market for. The
Japanese government whaling fleet has been losing money for a few years now and they are determined
that Paul Watson should be punished. I don't see Watson as the villain here.

Being against the hunting of whales is a simple personal choice. Can one say the same about defending people who would openly attempt risking lives to advance their cause?

You go sink someone's fishing boat because you don't approve of what they are doing and you'll soon find out how much of a villain you are.

Hey I did my part to assist in the genocide of three different species today. You think a few tears are going to stop me?

Mwa ha ha ha.

I'm a cold hearted bitch. LOL.
Cold-hearted and full beats warm-hearted and starving. :D

I look at liver this way; it's an organ for filtering out poisons and other stuff that the body doesn't want. It'd be silly to put it in my stomach.
Headcheese is tolerable smoked and seasoned enough.

Like many kids of the 50's i was told by adults who probably wanted to hoard the Head Cheese, that it was made with the whole Pig head, brains and all. That stuck! 8O
