How much more from America through our coal terminals ? I see BNSF trains carrying coal heading to Roberts Bank daily . BNSF that environmentally friendly railroad owned by democrat Warren ( my secretary pays more tax than I do ) Buffet . Why are we shipping American coal through our waters ? That is the Salish Sea they are sailing through , what if there is a spill .

Put a carbon tax on them and they will be good exports.

You probably see US owned companies using Canadian rails because the Mulroney government sold off a lot of CN owned track a number of years ago to private interests. My guess is that if the coal is mined in the US then it probably goes out through US ports, and if it isn't it still doesn't count as Canadian coal.

More snow for Calgary later this week.

Guess I'll be getting some fresh air and exercise removing all that global warming from the driveway

So what you are saying is that spring snowfall in Calgary is unusual? Try taking off your blinkers every now and then. You've got too much of a cart horse mentality.

No it travels up on BNSF tracks from Washington State daily , and shipped out of Roberts Bank , right smack on the Fraser River delta on big freighters through the Georgia Straight , with nary a peep from the same American backed lobbyists and protesters against shipping Canadian oil through that same Salish Sea , all the while those same American interests are profiting from Alaskan oil shipped through the same waterways .

Hilarious.

The Cdn gvt (Mulroney) sold off the assets of a private company without them knowing.

Thanks for coming out....Lemme see if Vanna has a consolation prize for ya

Doesn't global warming bother you in the least?

What about the ice free North pole since 2013?

Then as I said it is probably considered a US export.

One day you might actually get something right in a discussion with me, but this isn't the day.

And just what has global warming got to do with snow on the Prairies in March? It's climate change, not climate eradication. Nice to see that you have swung in favour of modern scientific thought regarding climate change though, after years of denial.

So you have no problem with coal freighters travelling through the Salish Sea yet are vehemently against oil tankers . At least you are consistent .

Nope, no mention of Mulroney in your article.

I get it now... So unbeknownst to everyone, Mulroney gained US citizenship and promptly sold off the assets of CN rail without them knowing.

... Maybe you ought to subscribe to fewer conspiracy theories and at very least, stop showcasing your paranoia via declaring them as fact

Global warming was bandied about as fact not so long ago, much like the fact the North pole would be ice free in 2013.

... So, please do tell me more about your science.

I patiently await more of your facts

I guess you slept through the fact that Mulroney was in power during the early 1990s while CN rail was in the process of being prepared for sale. No doubt someone else in his party engineered the sell-off while Mulroney wasn't looking.

And I see you are desperately trying to backtrack on your admission that global warming is occurring. What happened? Did you stuff your head back in the gopher hole it usually occupies?

Environment Commissioners' Audit Shows Canada Is Not Prepared To Tackle Climate Change

http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2018/03/27/environment-commissioner-canada-climate-change_a_23396771/

OTTAWA — Neither Ottawa nor the provinces have really assessed the risks a changing climate poses to the country and have no real idea what might be needed to adapt to it, said a new audit released Tuesday.

Going to be a big market in snow plows very soon.

Obviously because China is building so many wind turbines in China.

Do they work as well as everything else Made in China?
