Why did the white house release a video of an old guy watching a television and claim it is bin laden when it clearly isn't bin laden?

I'm now convinced the US got OBL more or less as they described it. Even the way how the information broke and then changed, actually contributed to the believability. But the clincher was when al Qaeda websites confirmed the death.

One question I still have is why did they kill him when he would have been a far more valuable alive.

Holy shyte, wonder if I should tell my Mother this since she has already gone over 8 years on dialysis and she's now 72.

In other words, that 4 years can vary one fu ck of a lot. It's not written in stone and it IS possible that Ossama lived.
Has your mom been on the run for the past 8 years?

If you are in Canada, you mean your M1A, the M14 being selective fire is prohibited.

My firearm is stamped as a M14, but yes your right - M1A. Keep in mind that this is not a Springfield Armory model. This is a Chinese knock off from a company called "Norinco".

The 2 main design differences are that it has a synthetic stock as opposed to a wood one, and that the receiver is forged as opposed to a cast receiver like the Springfield Armory model.

I've learned that the forged receivers are actually stronger than cast ones. Another advantage to my Norinco version is that it was a lot less expensive. A genuine SA model can run you anywhere $1000 and up used, while my Norinco model was only $500 new with a couple of magazines.

As is the FN FAL despite the fact it is only semi-auto (the version I have)....and that is why I am no longer allowed even to take it to the range.
Sorry but I still seem to be missing something here. If your FN FAL is semi auto only (the selector switch is inactive or absent) and you have your magazines pinned at 5 (required by law), how are you still not allowed to fire at the range?

Is it just the range rules, as in no rapid fire allowed?

The reason for the stealthy entrance is all the hardware they escaped with, with the body gone it wouldn't show up that heroin was his favorite toy. Addicts don't go to heaven in any religion.

There were a lot of news , photographs and videos about Saddam from the time he was caught to execution of him as if a show to all over the world (Saddam was also a cruel leader but not a terrorist for America)
For Osame bin ,only a fake photograph about his death , he was just caught and threw into the sea ,that is all ,is he just an ordinary criminal?( no need to talk about how brutal terrorist he was! )

I think he hasn't been killed, but Al Qaida doesn't seem to deny it , it is also very contradictory
maybe , that is all a trick and Osame Bin is a monster (Frankenstein) created by America...

or, say it "Conspiracy theory"...

I admit to being skeptical at first. But I changed my mind when al Qeda sources confirmed the story.

A few things don't add up, which is why I remain skeptical. The intel OBL possesses is just far too valuable for him to be shot as a first (and only) choice.... If we are to believe all the other stories we've been told about OBL, the US should have made an effort to capture an unarmed OBL. Its possible, but unlikely that the orders were to shoot on site, or that the US commandos were twitchy on the trigger.

Al Qeda reports confirm the story, but they weren't there. But that does imply OBL lived at this location. The only non-US witnesses to these events are the people were in the house and they are in Pakistani custody.

If the US did capture OBL alive, very likely they would initially claim he was dead, so they could work on him without outside interference.

Over all I tend to believe OBL is dead. I'm not 100% convinced but close to it. We still lack definitive proof and even photos of a body riddled with bullets do not prove OBL is dead.

After watching him for 6+ months and getting all we needed from him. The possibility of him was to great a risk. So we just cleaned up the mess, never to hear from evil again(at least that evil).

Who are you guys kidding? Was it really your preferred option that OBL had a quick and merciful death, followed by a respectful burial at sea. That's not how the US usually treats their enemies.

Given a choice wouldn't you have preferred the commandos took OBL to Gitmo and tortured him for information, followed by a show trial, a parade down Broadway avenue topped off with a public execution at ground zero?

Your opinions tend match whatever crap your idiot box tells you. I doubt that's a coincidence.

Not mine...

It is when they want to avoid making more enemies.

Nope. If I were in Obama's shoes. No one would have ever known this happened, and Osama would be in some dark hole with his balls hooked up to a gen set 24/7. Just for sh!ts and giggles.

Your opinions tend match whatever crap your idiot box tells you. I doubt that's a coincidence.
Do you really want to set that tone? You always end up crying to the Mods when I reciprocate.

I'm glad Jessica Lynch and Rambo killed Osama bin Laden.

Now if we could get somebody to off Osama ben Bernancke we'd be getting places.

It was funny but the title sucks ass. Someone who is obviously sharp would pick off that justice is what the victims get from the death of osama.
