the legality of the raid on osama's compound is now in question, the pakistani's had no prior notice...

Anybody with a lick of sense knows why the Pakistanis had no prior notice.

If Pakistan wants to get into a pizzing contest about the legality of various moves, I'm sure there are others willing to play along.

Because they have the a sshole brigrade preaching to them! Radical imams calling for the desruction of Israel and the west. Not to mention indoctrinating their children over the years!

Sounds a lot like some of your posts on here.

The bottom line is the bastard's "been got". He was an international enemy and a world threat. Who gives a sh*t about things like the paper work. If Pakistan don't like it, TOUGH.

Up until this happened.

The US has very little interest in Afghanistan.

This was a perfect example of how society could not put world affairs into perspective and we were taken advantage of because emotions were running high. The resulting actions have partly brought us into economic decline over the last 10 years and even the sickos won't be given pictures of Bin Laden's dead body to whack off too.

What threat?

His threat was over the moment we decided to ban box cutters. The threat of terrorism was exactly the same, and only went up when we decided to aggravate matters.

How are people still in denial over this?

So any country that doesn't want to deal with the US and keep the peace and foster a life for its citizens should be invaded and occupied by the US. The list of countries is verrry long. Also consider if you preach freedom then each sovereign nation has the freedom to do whatever it wants within its borders and the US has no say in it or you are denying the freedom you preach about. Or is it they can have freedom as long as it is your version and up to your standards?

Well that depends doesn't it. If we have a trading agreement and some small terrorist group wants to spoil that, and the country asks for help in dealing with it's terrorism problem then it's got nothing at all to do with sovereignty.
Iraq isn't Afghanistan. Attempting to connect them is wrong and doomed to failure.

If a country stands to harbor those who would harm me, then that's the choice they have made. That my country can via a network of similar minded countries turn the place into the stone age is something for them to consider not me. I do feel that if a nation has no interest in dealing with my country, has no groups within it that are trying to kill me, or attacking it's neighbours, then they are welcome to be what ever they are going to be.

This isn't the case here though. Afghanistan outright harboured terrorists, set up camps to train terrorists and when asked for the terrorist icon refused to hand him over to a superior force that in the end, did just take him. It not all that difficult to keep a country free of terrorists, you simply have to make the effort and help will come from countries like Canada. No one has to accept it and if they choose to harbour terrorists, don't come crying to me when I find out and kick your ass for it.

Do business, make a living and live a peaceful life. Screw with mine and you will find that your's is not worth living.

Its a wast of time Bert, some people will never understand or admit that the US, by its own actions and foreign policy, started all this in the first place and the resulting terrorism is a not so peaceful protest of their actions. I tried earlier to get some to understand that OBL's big protest was about permanent US bases on Saudi soil, he stated it many times that all he wanted was the american presence in Saudi Arabia and the middle east gone.

As I said before, you have given up your morals and your honor and now are reduced to the same thing you supposedly fight against. They won, you lost!!

So explain, oh wise one, how the USA "started all this"?

Was it by paying inflated prices for oil paid to a cartel, thereby pouring billions upon trillions of dollars into Arab countries???

Was it by defending Muslims in Kosovo?

Was it by defending the Islamic states of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait from the secular state of Iraq?

Explain exactly how the United States "started all this:.

I need a good laugh.

Was it by defending Muslims in Kosovo?

Hey Colpy, years ago a Saudi man asked a news reporter why the US slaughterd all the muslims in Kosovo. She was shocked and said the US was fighting to protect muslims in Kosovo. His response...

"That is not what they teach us here."

As I understand the official story he was in bed and unarmed and never given the chance to surrender, it was a kill mission as some in the govt have said.
.

Good. That does not bother me in the slightest.

So any country that doesn't want to deal with the US and keep the peace and foster a life for its citizens should be invaded and occupied by the US.

Yeah that is pretty much it. You're so bright.

Good grief.
