You'd think that if OBL was the mastermind behind 9/11, then capturing him alive for interrogation would have been the primary objective. Instead we only have the US government's word they deliberately assassinated OBL with no interest in the intel that could have provided. I not saying OBL is alive or dead. Just that the story doesn't add up and I don't trust the US government to tell the truth.

Why would they give him a platform from which to preach Jihad in the inevitable trial?

And now that they are NOT using "extraordinary measures" in interrogation, it is doubtful he would confess to anything useful.....he's a fanatic. BTW, no torture is a GOOD thing.

He has not been operational commander for some time......and intel is more quickly and effectively gained from the computers etc seized from his residence.

AND if they had brought him out alive, you characters would be demanding he be released because he hadn't been informed of his rights, and his capture was a violation of international law.

Last, but not least, how could any decent human being be armed in the same room as bin Laden and NOT shoot him????

I wouldn't sweat it, Y.J. As a frequent visitor to the U.S. over a 20 year period I can assure you they don't know what they are talking about, especially when it comes to the common everyday people. I defy anyone to find a race that is more helpful, friendly and generous. But having said that the "naysayers" should realize that most times what you see in a person is just a reflection of yourself.
