Anyway,
Lawyers for
Ghislaine Maxwell are challenging the release of 90,000 pages of
documents related to Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell,
so roughly 3% of the remaining documents (or 1.5% of the total files) that HAD to be released by December 20th 2025 that Trumps DOJ still hasn’t released yet, arguing a new
law forcing their
disclosure is unconstitutional?
The
Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed into law by President Trump on November 19, 2025, mandates the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all unclassified records, videos, and images related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell by December 20th, 2025.
Trump’s DOJ has produced over 3.5 million pages of evidence as of early 2026….so roughly…half?
The legal
challenge, filed in Manhattan federal court, aims to block the release of files from a decade-old civil defamation lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre against Maxwell. Maxwell's attorneys contend that the 'Epstein Files Transparency Act' violates the Constitution's separation of powers doctrine, asserting that Congress cannot override the
judiciary's power to protect its files.
While it’s known that accuser Virginia Giuffre’s attorneys met with federal prosecutors in 2016 about Epstein to no avail, recently disclosed files indicate that detailed information was provided to federal authorities years before that sit-down. This included allegations against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor; documents indicate that he appeared on the
FBI’s radar about 15 years ago.
Maxwell’s lawyers claim the documents, which include over 30 deposition transcripts, contain private financial and sexual information pertaining to Maxwell and others…but…but was Maxwell concerned when she and Epstein where racking up around a Thousand sexual victims? Many of those apparently under age?
The move comes amidst ongoing releases of Epstein-related documents, which have revealed new details about his abuse and led to complaints from victims whose personal information was disclosed.
The Department of Justice’s release of millions of Jeffrey Epstein files has not only prompted questions about his crimes – but renewed attention on authorities’
failure to stop him after an accuser reported him in 1996.
This woman provided an extensive account of Epstein’s abuse and alleged participation of co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as other men as a teenage girl during the late 1990s. The woman, who described suffering at the hands of several predatory men after leaving a rehab facility, told agents that her father, a maintenance man at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club, secured a job for her as a locker room attendant there.
The woman, then an aspiring massage therapist, was reading a book on this subject. Maxwell came up to her and claimed she was looking for a traveling masseuse.
Not long after, the woman traveled to Epstein’s Palm Beach home, where he abused her. She told agents she ultimately traveled and that the sexual abuse continued and that he trafficked her to other men.
Files show accuser in 2011 provided extensive account of abuse as questions mount over why action was not taken
