The woman suing Prince Andrew is now claiming she has lost the original infamous print of the pair with convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre, 36, was suing the royal before reaching a settlement in principle Tuesday, alleging he had sex with her on three occasions when she was an underage sex slave for his pal, billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew denied any wrongdoing.
One of the key pieces of evidence is the notorious photo of Giuffre, Andrew and Maxwell at the socialite’s London mansion.
The Duke of York’s team has suggested that the snapshot — purportedly taken by Epstein in March 2001 — has been doctored. Giuffre was 17 at the time and she claims Andrew sexually assaulted later that same evening.

Another source also told the news site the existence of the print may be doubtful and it may have been lost in Giuffre’s move from Colorado to Australia.

Last November, the prince’s legal eagles requested the original print but it was not provided.
In 2016, Giuffre said in a deposition in a defamation case she brought against Maxwell that she gave the FBI the original in 2011. Case documents state it is one of 20 photos Giuffre gave to the feds, who kept the originals.

Prince Andrew and his team were trying all gambits to get the case kicked out of court. Questioning the authenticity of the photo was the latest approach. Andrew denied ever meeting Giuffre.
The photo conspiracy was given traction by the royal’s former girlfriend, Lady Victoria Hervey, who said an Irish man posed as Andrew’s body double with his head photo-shopped on top.

“Remember, at the time that she was being interviewed by the FBI she was not suing anybody,” the Giuffre source said of the original photo’s disappearance.
“She was not getting legal advice. She has now been through six or seven years of litigation and has lawyers advising her and I’m sure she would behave differently, but then she was just a young girl.”
But would the absence of the original have made a difference to the embattled prince?
An legal insider told the Daily Mail: “(If the photo is fake), that would destroy their credibility. But even Andrew in that BBC interview did not say it was fake. The photo does not show them having sex. But it shows they were together. It shows they met.
“The more he fights about that photograph, the more he underscores the fact that the real credibility issue for him now is whether he ever met her. That’s a losing battle for him.”

The Puke of York signed off on a deal with former Jeffrey Epstein sex slave Roberts on Tuesday.
But a slew of questions remain about what legal experts have called an “admission of guilt” by the dim duke.
Here’s the latest:
It’s believed Queen Elizabeth ponied up a good portion of the estimated $20-million settlement and now there is a public outcry on the cusp of her Platinum Jubilee.
Questions have also arisen about where exactly the luxury-loving prince gets his funds. He has a small naval pension and an annual stipend from the Queen of about $430,000.
Sources say Andrew was about to be torpedoed in his latest bid to have the suit dismissed with newly released email messages between lawyer Alan Dershowitz and Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell admits in the exchange that the infamous photo of herself, Andrew and Roberts is “real.”

“This settlement came far earlier than any of us expected,” royal finances expert David McClure told the U.K. Sun, adding that Andrew’s financial situation has long been “shrouded in mystery.”

Last month, the prince was forced to sell his beloved ski chalet in Switzerland for around $30 million but he likely lost money on the property, McClure said.
“Prince Andrew has made a few million from that sale, but he will have to split that with Fergie, and he had a mortgage to pay on it, so he is likely to have lost money on it,” David said. “The Queen will help pay for her son’s settlement for the simple reason that she has disposable money and he doesn’t.”
Media in the U.K. are reporting that for years the penurious prince has relied on handouts from his mother, Eastern European oligarchs and despots and an American pedophile named Jeffrey Epstein.

A former Royal protection officer told the U.K. Sun Andrew’s sudden U-turn was likely ordered by his mother, Queen Elizabeth.
“This wasn’t his decision, this was the Queen’s,” said Paul Page, adding that the prince’s story was “full of holes” and the Duke “would have been slaughtered” in his deposition.

The Duke of York thought it would be a good idea to go on the BBC to discuss Giuffre’s claims that he had sex with her three times when she was under age on orders of Epstein and posh pimp Ghislaine Maxwell. Andrew continues to deny the allegations.

On the BBC’s website, Maitlis challenged the duke.
“At the heart of the settlement is the biggest question of all: Why is a prince who told me he had ‘no recollection of ever meeting this lady’ now paying her what we understand to be upwards of $20 million?
“I distinctly remember putting Virginia Giuffre’s accusations to him directly: ‘She says she met you in 2001, she dined with you, danced with you, you bought her drinks in Tramp nightclub, and she went on to have sex with you in a house in Belgravia.'”
Maitlis added: “And I have the Prince’s reply in front of me now. Three words only: ‘It didn’t happen.’

“There are only three possible explanations then for the settlement: Either he was lying in that response — and remembered her well; or he genuinely had no recollection — and was adamant they hadn’t met — only for his memory subsequently to be jogged; or that he maintains his innocence, but feels the weight of legal and public opinion against him now make settling the easier option, albeit without accepting any liability.”

The reporter said it wasn’t up to her to determine which narrative was true but wrote she noted the distance he set between acknowledging what had happened to Giuffre and taking any sort of responsibility himself.

Still, Maitlis said she was disappointed that the story lacks an ending.
“There would have been huge satisfaction in the sense of an ending — any ending — that saw the prince make his legal defence so comprehensively,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, there are renewed calls for clarity on the financial aspect of the settlement. British media has reported that Queen Elizabeth bailed out her second son from her own purse.
But the palace is refusing to say where the money came from. Sources told British media that the Queen intervened to allow her to enjoy her Platinum Jubilee celebrations without a sex scandal hanging overhead.
Sources have said Andrew has relied on handouts from his mother for years to maintain his luxurious lifestyle and to erect the facade of his own importance.

Among the prince’s outlandish claims to the BBC:
— He could not have been with Giuffre at Maxwell’s London mansion because he was eating at a Pizza Express with his daughters miles away.
— Giuffre claimed the prince was sweating while they danced. He said he had a condition that made him unable to sweat.

On the BBC’s website, Maitlis challenged the duke.
“At the heart of the settlement is the biggest question of all: Why is a prince who told me he had ‘no recollection of ever meeting this lady’ now paying her what we understand to be upwards of $20 million?
“I distinctly remember putting Virginia Giuffre’s accusations to him directly: ‘She says she met you in 2001, she dined with you, danced with you, you bought her drinks in Tramp nightclub, and she went on to have sex with you in a house in Belgravia.'”
Maitlis added: “And I have the Prince’s reply in front of me now. Three words only: ‘It didn’t happen.’

“There are only three possible explanations then for the settlement: Either he was lying in that response — and remembered her well; or he genuinely had no recollection — and was adamant they hadn’t met — only for his memory subsequently to be jogged; or that he maintains his innocence, but feels the weight of legal and public opinion against him now make settling the easier option, albeit without accepting any liability.”

The reporter said it wasn’t up to her to determine which narrative was true but wrote she noted the distance he set between acknowledging what had happened to Giuffre and taking any sort of responsibility himself.

Still, Maitlis said she was disappointed that the story lacks an ending.
“There would have been huge satisfaction in the sense of an ending — any ending — that saw the prince make his legal defence so comprehensively,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, there are renewed calls for clarity on the financial aspect of the settlement. British media has reported that Queen Elizabeth bailed out her second son from her own purse.
But the palace is refusing to say where the money came from. Sources told British media that the Queen intervened to allow her to enjoy her Platinum Jubilee celebrations without a sex scandal hanging overhead.
Sources have said Andrew has relied on handouts from his mother for years to maintain his luxurious lifestyle and to erect the facade of his own importance.

The palace aides are said to have taken a nursery rhyme and spun it to ridicule the royal behind his back with their take on Andrew and his settlement with Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
“The grand old Duke of York, he had 12 million quid. He gave it to someone he’d never met, for something he never did,” insiders sang to the Sunday Times.
The lyrics refer to the disgraced royal, long dubbed “Randy Andy,” and his interview with the BBC in which he claimed he had “no recollection” of ever meeting Jeffrey Epstein’s former sex slave.
That was in spite of that widely circulated photograph of Andrew with his arm around the then-17-year-old.
Giuffre had sued the Duke of York, claiming he sexually assaulted her on three occasions when she was 17, allegations he has repeatedly denied.

A source close to Andrew told the news outlet that “there is genuine regret he was ever involved with Epstein.”
The insider added: “It is too early to say what his life will look like in the future. He is remorseful, particularly about the impact it has had on his mother and his family.”
The sum of the settlement will not be publicly disclosed, according to papers filed last week in Manhattan federal court, but reports say it’s in the neighbourhood of $12.9 million.
It’s unclear how he will pay the settlement — but the Queen will likely fund part of it from her private Duchy of Lancaster estate.
British media reported that Andrew was forced to settle with Giuffre by the Queen and Prince Charles.

NEW YORK — A U.S. judge on Thursday said she will question a juror in Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex trafficking case to determine whether his failure to disclose having been sexually abused as a child tainted the British socialite’s conviction.

U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan in Manhattan also denied Maxwell’s bid for a new trial, at least until after a March 8 hearing, when the Manhattan man known as Juror 50 will testify under oath in open court.
Nathan said Maxwell had met the “high” legal standard to obtain a post-verdict hearing.
Maxwell, 60, was convicted on Dec. 29 of five of the six counts she faced for aiding the late financier Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of underage girls.
The verdict became clouded when Juror 50, who identified himself by his first and middle names Scotty David, told media including Reuters that he shared with other jurors his history of sexual abuse during the five days of jury deliberations.
He had not disclosed this abuse before trial when filling out his juror questionnaire.

Question 48 had asked whether prospective jurors had been victims of sexual harassment, sexual abuse or sexual assault, and if yes whether they could judge Maxwell fairly and impartially.
Juror 50, who is in his mid-30s, checked “No” to the first part of the question, and left the second part blank.
He told Reuters he did not remember the question and would have answered honestly, but that he “flew through” the questionnaire.
Nathan called Juror 50’s statements “clear, strong, substantial and incontrovertible evidence” that he responded falsely on his questionnaire, depriving Maxwell’s lawyers of a chance to question him for bias.
But in denying a new trial, Nathan said she could not accept Juror 50’s statements at face value because they were either unsworn, or inadmissible under federal evidentiary rules.

Lawyers for Maxwell did not respond to requests for comment.
They had argued that Juror 50’s failure to respond truthfully required a new trial because Maxwell’s jury was not fair and impartial, and that they would have excluded him “for cause” had he been truthful.
Maxwell’s lawyers had also sought to question a second juror who reportedly claimed to discuss with fellow jurors having also experienced sexual abuse as a child. Nathan denied that request on Thursday.
Todd Spodek, a lawyer for Juror 50, declined to comment.
Legal experts have said overturning verdicts because of juror dishonesty generally occurs when jurors lie in order to be seated, not when they mistakenly conceal important information.
Maxwell’s sentencing is scheduled for June 28.

NEW YORK — A U.S. judge on Tuesday ordered the dismissal of Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit accusing Britain’s Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was underage, as Britain’s finance ministry confirmed that no public funds were used in their settlement.

The dismissal by U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan in Manhattan federal court had been requested by Giuffre and Andrew, and was expected following the settlement announced on Feb. 15 between Giuffre and Queen Elizabeth’s second son.
That accord included an undisclosed payment, with Andrew making a “substantial donation” to Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights.
Andrew, the Duke of York, did not admit wrongdoing in agreeing to settle the civil lawsuit. He has not been accused of criminal wrongdoing.
The finance ministry issued its comment after The Sun, a British tabloid, said Andrew’s older brother Prince Charles was bankrolling most of the settlement, with the queen chipping in.
Giuffre’s case had focused on Andrew’s friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, the financier and sex offender who the 38-year-old Giuffre said also sexually abused her.

Andrew, 62, denied Giuffre’s accusations that he forced her to have sex when she was 17 at the London home of Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s mansion in Manhattan, and Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The allegations and Andrew’s relationship with Epstein severely damaged the prince’s reputation, forcing him to give up his royal patronages and no longer be known as “His Royal Highness.”
In a statement announcing the settlement, Andrew said he regretted his association with Epstein, and accepted that Giuffre had suffered as an abuse victim.
Epstein killed himself at age 66 in a Manhattan jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Maxwell is seeking a new trial after being convicted in December of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein to abuse.

NEW YORK — A U.S. judge on Tuesday ordered the dismissal of Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit accusing Britain’s Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was underage, as Britain’s finance ministry confirmed that no public funds were used in their settlement.

The dismissal by U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan in Manhattan federal court had been requested by Giuffre and Andrew, and was expected following the settlement announced on Feb. 15 between Giuffre and Queen Elizabeth’s second son.
That accord included an undisclosed payment, with Andrew making a “substantial donation” to Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights.
Andrew, the Duke of York, did not admit wrongdoing in agreeing to settle the civil lawsuit. He has not been accused of criminal wrongdoing.
The finance ministry issued its comment after The Sun, a British tabloid, said Andrew’s older brother Prince Charles was bankrolling most of the settlement, with the queen chipping in.
Giuffre’s case had focused on Andrew’s friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, the financier and sex offender who the 38-year-old Giuffre said also sexually abused her.

Andrew, 62, denied Giuffre’s accusations that he forced her to have sex when she was 17 at the London home of Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s mansion in Manhattan, and Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The allegations and Andrew’s relationship with Epstein severely damaged the prince’s reputation, forcing him to give up his royal patronages and no longer be known as “His Royal Highness.”
In a statement announcing the settlement, Andrew said he regretted his association with Epstein, and accepted that Giuffre had suffered as an abuse victim.
Epstein killed himself at age 66 in a Manhattan jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Maxwell is seeking a new trial after being convicted in December of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein to abuse.

NEW YORK — A juror in Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex abuse trial said on Tuesday that his failure to disclose that he had been sexually abused as a child on a pre-trial screening form was a “huge mistake,” but that he did not deliberately lie to get chosen for the jury.

Maxwell was convicted on Dec. 29 on five of the six counts she faced for helping the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse underage girls.
Her lawyers demanded a new trial after Juror No. 50 told media including Reuters that he shared with other jurors his history of sexual abuse during deliberations. He said in the pre-trial screening questionnaire that he had not been sexually abused.
U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan said the juror’s statements provided evidence that he responded falsely on the questionnaire. She questioned the juror about his responses at a Tuesday hearing in Manhattan federal court.
“This is one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made in my life,” Juror No. 50, who testified without revealing his name, said in court.

He testified that he had been abused by a stepbrother and the stepbrother’s friend when he was 9 and 10 years old. He said that looking back on the question, he should have answered “yes” when asked whether he had ever been abused, but that the experience did not bias him.
In explaining his incorrect response, the juror said he “flew through” the questionnaire.
“This is a terrible excuse, but I really didn’t think I’d be chosen,” Juror No. 50 testified. “I never thought I would be one of those 12.”
Nathan asked if he had hoped to be selected.
“I did not hope to be on this jury,” the juror said. “If you’re going to serve jury duty, it might as well be something that’s interesting. But I did not set out to get on this jury.”
Legal experts told Reuters that not all instances of jurors failing to disclose information are significant enough to merit a new trial, noting that cases where verdicts were overturned often involved jurors who deliberately misled the judge in order to get selected.

Nathan granted the juror immunity from prosecution. The juror’s lawyer had previously said the juror would invoke his constitutional right to avoid self-incrimination and decline to answer questions at the hearing.
The juror signed the pre-trial screening form under penalty of perjury, meaning he could have faced legal consequences if found to have lied.
At the close of the hearing, Nathan instructed both prosecutors and the defence to submit briefs about the juror’s testimony before she rules on Maxwell’s request for a new trial.
Maxwell, 60, faces up to 65 years in prison. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 at the age of 66 in a Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

And, he’s admitted to smoking pot/controlled substance. Didn’t find any trial by jury record for Michel. Did find trial by jury record for Justin.
You now know why Justin Trudeau didn’t want anyone to conduct an investigation into an allegation that he groped a female reporter in British Columbia in 2000. Investigation would find this court document and Canadians who know that Justin Trudeau has a record and he went to trial.

Juliette Bryant, from Cape Town, South Africa, told the BBC in a documentary that as a 20-year-old aspiring model, she was lured to Epstein’s island on the promise of having her modelling career furthered.
Bryant instead said on the BBC2 series House of Maxwell she was taken on a private plane to the island where she saw other victims, she estimated there were 60 girls and woman there, perform sex acts on Epstein.
“Things happened there that scared me so deeply that I can’t even talk about them,” she said, according to Daily Mail.
“He fed off the terror, there was something about the energy of a girl being scared that he liked.
“It was just like a factory,’ she says. “He was running a machine and Ghislaine Maxwell was the one operating it. People ask why I went back. Nobody disobeyed Epstein.”
Bryant said she remembers his bedroom as being “pitch black and ice cold” and says she dissociated with her body as he sexually assaulted her.
