Northern Ontario,
I've had buffalo burgers and I found that they taste similar to moose burgers but the buffalo burgers I had in a restaurant and I used to make my own ground moose meat mixed with a small amount of beef suet so the burgers weren't as dry as buffalo....

Northern Ontario,
The buffalo I had was in a restaurant in Timmins, they probably got it from the kid creek mine...

This video was produced in '95....they don't seem to have them anymore now.

I love those shows about people who have chosen to live the wilderness lifestyle hunting , trapping and fishing. My favorite one is Mountain Men. One thing stands out to me though. Those people will eat any damn thing that moves from mooses to muskrats and anything in between. Nothing is safe I'll bet your hind leg gets em thinkin about bbq. They need to eat some salad now and to offset the enormous amounts of flesh they consume daily. I don't see many gardens on those shows .

Hey- have you watched any episodes of the Alaska Bush People? That's one of the very few programs on the Idiot box I get very excited about.
