TenPenny, The Drudge Report was started by Matt Drudge.
The Huffington Post was started by Arianna Huffington.

You might want to dig into the history of them a little bit.

The Drudge Report is a conservative[2][3][4][5][6] news aggregation website. Run by Matt Drudge with the help of Andrew Breitbart, the site consists mainly of links to stories from the United States and international mainstream media about politics, entertainment, and current events as well as links to many columnists.
Andrew J. Breitbart (pronounced /ˈbraɪtbɑrt/; born February 1, 1969) is an American publisher,[1] commentator for the Washington Times, author,[2] an occasional guest commentator on various news programs. He may be best-known for serving as an editor for the Drudge Report website. He was a researcher for Arianna Huffington, and was employed by her as "the primary developer" of her website, the Huffington Post.[3][4]

TenPenny, I am not going to quote you, because the garbage in your post #221 is not worth quoting.

I have a question for you, though: Do you think that Andrew Breitbart and Matt Drudge are the same person?

Saying that they are essentially the same is like saying that Mother Teresa and Charles Manson are essentially the same.

Would there be a smattering of hyperbole there?:lol::lol:

JLM, of course, there is.

But it may be, no MUST BE, the wake-up call that those who have been hypnotized, mesmerized and bamboozled by Obama, need.

I find a person's credibility to be the best when they stick exactly to the truth. Remember when sweet little Hillary emerged from the plane amid a deluge of bombs, missiles, shells and shrapnel - to quote her approximately? I have never believed a word the bitch says after that.

Garbage?

The fact that Breitbart and Drudge are responsible for the Drudge Report, and Breitbart and Huffington started the Huffington Post. That's garbage, and not worth quoting? You don't see any interesting connection between there?

Do you know who Breitbart is? You don't know what he does? Even when he's responsible for many of the little gems you like to bring up?

Do you ever know what you are talking about? Ever?

I guess not.

Take your own advice, and do a little learning. It might surprise you.

You're not always right either TEnpenny, so maybe you can climb down off your high horse.:smile:

Who is on the high horse? TenPenny pointed out a man who plays both sides, and YukonJack said that was garbage that he wasn't going to respond to.

As to Obama's Presidency? He's lame. The worst oil spill ever, and Obama can't find the minerals (bad pun) to get one of his priorities from the election passed, namely a clean energy/climate bill. A bipartisan bill, put together by an Independent, a Republican, and a Democrat is now dead.

The progressives who helped elect Obama are turning on him. As others have pointed out, there's very few differences between Bush and Obama. The one defining difference I can see is that Bush actually was able to pass the legislation he wanted, when he had a Republican controlled House behind him.

Tonnigton, let me quote TenPenny:

"Huffington Post and the Drudge report were started by the same people. They are essentially the same thing, just different slants on what they say."

The fact that (?) Andrew Breitbart may have had a minor part in starting either or both is a far cry from saying that The Drudge Report was started by the same people as The Huffington Post.

And that is the reason I called TenPenny's post garbage and unworthy of quoting.

Reading an article last week - sorry do not have the link - The Dems plan for the Nov Elections is a plain old fashioned shoot out - The old style throwing **** at the other side - It is going to be down and dirty - Just like they always are. But the Dems appear to be in early polls - early though - to lose control of at least 1 house or 2. Iran will be left alone until after the election - then look for the Israelis as a definite - US good possibility - to bomb Iran - No President wants to go down as the one that let Iran go Nuclear -

Foreign Policy - Does not seem to be any different than Bush - Containing China is high on the agenda - By that bring China into multi lateral discussion where everyone has a voice - Not just China - Note the policy announcement on the Spratly's - other Island - It is a major area for oil & gas - also a choke point for energy supplies. And the US is getting quite close with Vietnam.

Breitbart & Drudge: not a word of truth has ever come from those two clowns. But the one good thing about this incident is that it proves again what a bunch of liars they are.

gopher, it is obvious that you never logged into the Drudge Report.

It is nothing more, nothing less than a collection of links to other websites, regardless of political inclinations.

Andrew Breitbart is admittedly a conservative. But declaring that because of his political leanings he can not present the truth is just plain ignorant.
