The embargo goes on until Congress chooses to lift it. The President, as we have seen can make steps to normalize relations, but it is Congress that will ultimately decide if the embargo stays or goes.
It makes some happy it seems.
Oddly enough... the ones that it DOES make happy will soon see their private Canadian paradise evaporate within a year. The closest thing they had to a Canadian tropical climate will soon vanish in a blink.
By sheer numbers the hotels and resorts that catered to Canadians will need to change gears. The haters will be the ultimate losers.

I'm going to start a tour for Yanquis of Cuba to visit resorts frequented by Canadian women. It's going to be a vacation with all you can eat dining included.
