I think this is where you'll get that quote that says something like those that give up a little freedom for security deserve neither. Something along those lines. All or nothing... no balance...no moderation.

He's already busted out that quote.

I find it ironic to tell us not to trust the government, while busting out past political propaganda quotes to sell the idea. lol.

Northern Ontario,
Seems like in that case we should list all the voluntary behaviours that increase insurance pay-outs and criminalise them all.
We do.......For one...If you refuse to wear safety equipment on a construction site you don't get a job. Out of pocket money for you....same as a fines....even more....

There are fines for both the employee and employer.

You're actually saying that not getting a job is the same as being fined?

Well down here if OSHA is around and find you without safety equipment your company will get fined. True?

There are fines for both the employee and employer.

I've never heard of OSHA directly fining employees but I am sure they have that clause in there somewhere.

Why simply criminalize them? Lets shoot them on the spot. I mean if we're going to act stupid here lets get real stupid.

Yes. What does that have to do with my question?

I blame Obama.

You 780ers aren't in USA

Who's a 780'er you damn 306'er? :p

It doesn't matter where I am... it's a nitpicky point, but when discussing privacy, it's not considered a freedom, it's considered a right. Just a grammatical thing. And the UN's views on basic human rights trumps the US's or even Canada's in my opinion.
