Dear PMO,
I've difficulty raising funds for an idea of mine- a military standard like the Roman SPQR (The Senate and the Roman People). I plan to replace Roman with Canadian. I was wondering...

Wright didn't just dash off a cheque to Duffy in a moment of sentimental weakness, to dry Duffy's tears on a sad February day.

Harper's chief of staff actually went through a negotiation with Harper's former legal counsel to give Harper's best media buddy a legal deal for $90K:
Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s former special counsel and legal adviser worked on the legal deal between Nigel Wright and Sen. Mike Duffy’s lawyer that called for Wright to help Duffy pay off $90,000 in invalid expense claims, CTV News has learned.
But none of them told Harper anything about it. Oh, sure.

Despite Perrin's carefully phrased denial, I just don't believe Harper's sanctimonious Sgt. Schultz 'I know nothing NOTHING' defense, and neither does anyone else.

Canadian Press reports on what happened today during Question Period:

Maybe you could add a little grind to your bump and make a dance of it. :p

I don't find any of the stuff coming out of Ottawa one bit surprising. In fact I believe I called it years ago and was shouted down by cons for doing so.

I am not so sure...

I shall correct that. Most. Rathberger was pushed to far and from what i read about him was quite vocal within the CPC caucus.

Harper had a perfect opportunity to ram thru change with the Senate crap. He blew it
And I have no use for Lil Justin. Nor Mulcair who is beholden to his Quebec MP's. That has been noted on many occasions.
And Lil Justin has the same problem. Ceptin, not to many MP's from Quebec.

Not when they are pandered to as Lil Justin and Mulcair have done. The ROC is fed up with that.
As to the quality of the Senators- Did the Libs do any better. Nope.

As simply a rubber stamp, the Senate has lost its way. Amd there I agree with Mulcair.
As for Liberal appointees, you must respect Romeo Dallaire, another francophone...

Harper had his second last chance a few weeks ago. His last chance comes later this month at the Party Convention.

Mandatory auditing of all MP's by the Aud Gen for one. And the Aud Gen sets the rules. Not the Senate. And screw this crap about who they report to. They report to the people.

All published online prior to reimbursement.

Parliament to have the ability to remove a Senator for cause.

Define cause.

And Senators Wallin, Duffy and Harb. To be forbidden to rejoin caucus. See where the Libs go on that one. his numbers are approaching, according to report of approx 200 K.
That should get them all fired.

Through all this controversy you have not seen a peep from that idiot Trudeau !!

It looks like they are keeping him hidden because he probably has not figured out what's going plus he probably can't even formulate a response or question..

Justin Trudeau has spoken several times. Harper would do well to listen to Trudeau.

He was ready too welcome Harb back. Would that be after release from Jail?
I got the feeling he could be singing the jailhouse Blues.

I suppose young Trudeau has to be given a chance but I wouldn't get too gung ho about him (he's done nothing to impress me, but then what politician has, except for possibly Gibson father and son) Generally the apple don't fall too far from the tree.
