Doing the exact opposite of what you do.

Well, since what I do is post on these forums, I guess I should stop posting then, right?

I mean, I don't want to get ideological here, but that is what I am doing right now.

Not at all. I support free speech, but you can pretend that's what I meant all you want.

Just like you can't pretend that I truly believe Harper is the exact equal of a foreign dictator.

And just hammering insults by continuously calling me a 'shill' also does not lend itself well to having productive exchange either. I won't stop you from doing it, but that doesn't avoid the natural digression of conversation whether you like it or not.

It's a bit anti-thetical to the whole free speech bit.

Actually I'm going more by how I perceive human nature. I think by the time most people get to the ballot box they vote more from the head than from the heart. The spike in enthusiasm for Layton comes from what he says and most people know deep down that politicians lie.
People are pissed off. They'll be sticking to their guns.

Until the constitutional problems are ironed out, it is just a useless piece of paper. Mulroney shelved it hoping it would just go away, but that is like ignoring a gas leak in your house. Nobody has had the balls to reopen the debate. If Jack has the balls, I say give him a whack at it.

Ahhhh excuse me?

Mulrooney "had the balls" to tackle it......twice.

What he found out was that English Canada was not willing to create a national gov't within their nation, and refused to accept any deal generous enough to bring Quebec onboard.

Both the Meech Lake and the Charlottetown Accord were rejected by the people.

Leading directly to the 1995 referendum, which we won by a hair's breadth. Had he got 50% + 1, Parizeau would have made a Unilateral Declaration of Indeprendence......as he himself said.

That would mean civil war.

Gee whiz, let's open THAT Pandora's Box again. Only if you're an idiot.

Jack is an idiot.

BTW, Quebec has recognized the Constitution by invoking the "notwithstanding" clause.

And the whole bloody mess is the fault of that arrogant arsehole, PET.

I didn't pretend it, I full out believe it, given your silly and continuous use of spin and hyperbole to bash Harper, while you shill for Layton.

And just hammering insults by continuously calling me a 'shill' also does not lend itself well to having productive exchange either.
Any less then your silly comparisons, accusations and hyperbole? Which of course is an ongoing insult to objective peoples intelligence.
I won't stop you from doing it, but that doesn't avoid the natural digression of conversation whether you like it or not.
As soon as you resort to your usual hyperbole and silly spin, you indicate, conversation is the last thing on your mind. No matter what you think.
It's a bit anti-thetical to the whole free speech bit.
Oh, so you weren't pretending. Well, that explains a lot.

Carry on, as you were.

I was talking to my neighbour the other day and he said some big fat ugly chick was pounding on his door at 3AM so I ask him what happened. He said he got up and let her out.
