Not all Dippers. consider those who voted to scrap the long-gun registry.
And many conservatives can be bobble heads too, just as some of them are independent thinkers. It goes in every direction.
Exactly.

Well this is all a matter of perspective and opinion.
I don't mind paying for services that are worthwhile.
But only one of use condones and justifies that abhorrent form of coercive degrading of the democratic process. ;-)Exactly.
I disagree, education should be free, across the board, for those that meet the requirements.Pay you way and quit whining!
I don't either, it's the people who think someone else should pay for them. There is a situation in Quebec right now where students are resorting to violence because THEY think someone ELSE should pay for their education. Educating those thugs is an absolute waste of money until they can grasp the basic facts of life. Pay you way and quit whining!

Feds pay for education? Why the hell am I paying municpal school taxes and a provincal health and education tax?Yea, the province should increase taxes and pay for education themselves if it is that important to them.
I'm inclined to agree...............emotionally! Realistically it's not free........Canadians have to pay for it. Then all kinds of questions arise. Who meets the requirements and how are they determined? Once the rules are written up I think there are going to be some who scream "discrimination". Of course the simplest solution would be every one in the country above a certain income contributing so much a month to handle the entire bill so there are no student fees. Then there is the argument that those who the benefitting (the students) should have a vested interest in it to encourage them to work harder.

The band does from their budget which isn't all Fed funding to begin with. Far from it.Popssibly some kind of Peace Corps along military lines could be one way of paying it off: i.e. the government pays for your education, and you serve your country fo X years afterwards or some other arrangement.
On reserves they do.

I'm aware of that, but Canada would be the beneficiary of the rewards as well.Realistically it's not free........Canadians have to pay for it.
Those who achieve the required grades to justify the expense.Who meets the requirements and how are they determined?

Off reserve in treaty zones, the province does. There are very few on reserve schools funded by the province. Even in so doing, the funding is then billed to the Feds.On reserves they do.

I don't mind paying for essential services either. It is all the extras that the Left want and thinks that someone else should pay for that I resent. I especially don't like their ideas on wealth redistribution.
Remember too that I deal with the BC NDP who make Jack Layton look like a conservative.
It isn't just the lefties. Plenty of righties seem to think that everyone needs gov't in bedrooms and stuff just in case people are not being acceptable to rightie standards and to make sure that no-one rocks the status quo boat..I don't mind paying for essential services either. (it's) all about funding law enforcement and justifying their existence.
True.... Just about as productive as gangs and unions....Political parties are silly.
