I wonder what urbanization does to the poverty line in North America. It never ceases to amaze me that people who have nothing are drawn to urban centers where you can't buy a closet unless the family income is six figures.

Not to be too picky or anything but I got this far before some question popped up. Judging from that did you pass that year and if so after how many tries?
I'm thinking the Gov could save a bunch of money by just sending people to school starting at about 12 and let them decide what is the right amount. You have clearly outdone yourself on why the current system is overpriced for what you get. Red Skelton had a grade 4 education, it was his ability to read people that made him a rich man. He was also smart enough to hire professionals that were at the top of their class.

Down here you would certainly qualify IF you decided you no longer were going to work and wanted that life. OR you would qualify if you legitimately fell on hard times.

All along the way there is a need or fibers like muskeg as that allows packed soils to hold moisture and when you can do that you can grow something with roots. In the 'old days' it would be rape the land and move on, this time the plan should leave something like a productive field behind as the growing area for crops that do well with a short growing season'.

Also, rarely addressed is the effects of lack of nutrition on the brain. North America is the land of the nutritionally deficient morbidly obese. It sounds like an oxy moron but it's not.
