Either women don't want to be roadsweepers or dustbin emptiers and wish to leave those traditionally male jobs for men to do (yet still insist that men do the women's jobs at home) and wish to be equal in workplaces only in jobs which don't involve menial tasks, or they simply aren't capable of lifting a broom or emptying a bin.

You don't believe it's the former, so I'm assuming you think it's the latter.

THere are lots of women where I work. From labours to truck drivers to crane operators. Maybe it is just the class of women you know are basically lazy freeloaders.

I'm not talking about lorry drivers or crane operators. I'm talking about menial tasks like sweeping the streets, empytying bins or cleaning windows. I've never seen a female window cleaner, or seen gangs of women with filthy uniforms coming down the street every Thursday with a dustbin lorry emptying the neighbourhood's bins. You see very few women doing jobs like that. That's because the only jobs women are interesting in taking off men in order to become "equal in the workplace" are those non-menial jobs like operating cranes or being on a board of directors.

You don't see many female street cleaners and garbage collectors because the men doing the hiring don't think they are capable and don't give them a chance. I live alone with my 3 girls so I will unblock the toilet, shovel, mow, fix the vacuum cleaner, wash my car...

Just as there are SOME women who nag, there are as many self-centered, chauvinistic men, who believe they would actually be a gift to any woman.

Times have changed and we are teaching our girls to do it all, now we just need to teach Neanderthals like you to open your eyes and realise which century you're in!

You have any idea at all what labours do on a Heavy construction site? How about in trades like Ironworkers? Because there are women doing that as well. Something your pansy soft handed male friends could never do.

Do they clean windows, sweep the streets, empty bins and dredge canals, do they?

If not, then I don't consider being a labourer to be a menial job.

Not sure why I am even bothering to answer you but I have seen a female window cleaner.
