Anna, didn't you say you are an anthropologist? I was wondering about something: if there were people living in this area before the last ice age, any surface evidence of their existence would have been ground to dust by the glaciers. But, have there been any discoveries in caves that would be evidence of their having lived here, that you know of?This topic isn't about this god or that god, it's about an anthropological artifact.
Holy rollers are just as annoying as their absentee deities.
The world is very old; but the earth and the solar system were formed in 6000 years. But when this happened; it might be since a long time ago.
Till now, it is known that the writing was invented by the Sumerian who lived maybe less than that.
Maybe not a long period of time before Noah.
Although IMO I think the writing had been before the Sumerian, maybe by the Chinese; but the discovered historically the Iraqi Sumerian were the first ones who invented the Cuneiform writing on the clay by their triangular-shaped nail.

Adam was the father of the most recently created human race: the Caucasian race; the other three human races: each race has its specific father: the father of the black African race, the father of the yellow Chinese race, the father of the red Indians human race.
And of course there was intermarriages between these races to bring about such variations in shape and color.

It's not the belief, that is the problem, it's pimping those beliefs in an archaeological find thread, and even if I'm a Christian (I think?) It's just as frustrating to me to see Bible quotes ad nauseum, as much as Quran quotes...Try a science textbook sometime.
Yes, and some people believe in politics and quote their favourite politicos and bash the other party leaders ad nausium too. That really annoys me just as much. I'm surprised nobody has pulled out the old, "Russia... meh, bunch a commies... what do they know" line. It's not the belief, that is the problem, it's pimping those beliefs in an archaeological find thread, and even if I'm a Christian (I think?) And yes....atheists using this as a platform for their beliefs is just as bad.....
Not sure about around here, but some footprints dating back about 13,000 years ago were found on some island off BC's central coast early this year. Or maybe it was just reported early this year and found last year. Not sure. I wouldn't be surprised if something would turn up in research about the Kootenays.Anna, didn't you say you are an anthropologist? If not an atheist, then an idolater worshipping some idols which you engrave or invent; and in fact you are more worthy of such description as a 'child'; the idolaters play with their idols, as the child plays with her dummy.I'm not an atheist, child.
