It all depends on your interpretation, the Quran was not written as a technical manual.
Unfortunately, there is significant representation in almost every nation in this extreme interpretation of the Quran, and what's more, there is an inordinately large number of these folks that are (and have) acted on their interpretation when compared to any other religion.
I agree.
However, there is a difference between making a claim of interpretation and making a claim that it is inherently evident that the entire philosophy of this religion is synonymous with Nazism. That is the claim being put forth by Colpy, and if he wants to prove it, he needs to show that the source material itself is clear and unambiguous in its aims to spread fear, terror, etc.
The media is also responsible to make this distinction by using the modifier: "extremist" to identify those who interpret the Quran to mean one thing vs. the moderates, who clearly identify the Quran in a more pacifist manner.
