That has been my experience as well. They tend to be moderates, not extremists.

Because they are Muslims, and because of their history and temperament, I believe that their insights would be a great help. They are less likely than the Arabs to pound their fists and demand the world.

One of the biggest problems with Islamic countries is the uneven application of the rules.

Almost as bad is their lack of education. Learning that the sun sets daily in mud, or being able to raise the dead using beef.

Saying that most of the population goes to school for nine or ten years, sounds great. But it's the quality of their education that's lacking.

Spending less time learning some of the nonsense written in their Satanic verses would go a long way in improving their quality of life.
