That's probably why his opinion and yours would be the same, if Mulcair wasn't in the equation, lol.
As with most waste sites it's wise to extract anything of value!

Much experience with the BC NDP has proved that they are not much interested in democracy but more in forcing every one to accept their way.
As opposed too the wrong partisan bent?

I worked in Fort McMurray on the first GCOS tar sands refinery for over a year and you know, the whole place stunk of oil, birds were dying in the tailing ponds, and it was a toxic waste site. The trucks hauling the raw sand to the refinery spilled it every where. Virtually the whole site was covered in the smelly, raw oil sands. This was the first refinery and I understand the new sites are better...not much better, but better.

I damn near got killed due to an H2s leak on the Coker fractionator towers in '66. I was in the GCOS process plant for startup.
Nature made one **** of an oil spill. It's our job to clean that mess up and enjoy the energy it delivers.
That would be great if it were true. While the tar sands are on or close to the surface in a few areas, most places need 15 or 20 feet of dirt removed in order to get at the tar sands.
