And even assuming what you say is entirely true, the OP was clearly offended at the building of any mosque of any kind near ground Zero, thus implying that Muslims who'd lost loved ones on 911 are not even worthy of consideration.

I've already posted a video above about some family members of the victims of 911 who see nothing wrong with this mosque. So why should I care about a bunch of bigots who never lost anyone there.
To me, expressing offense at building a mosque there is the equivalent of saying F**k you! to these people:

I'm sure any Muslims found at ground zero would have been clasified as terrorist sympathisers at least or possibly even complicit in the actual attack. As were every Muslim, men women and children, around the world.
Of course. They're probably happy about the Muslims who died on that day as 'just retribution'; now they just wish the memory of those Muslims could be forgotten and wiped out from all records. His views on suicide bombings and killing of non-combatants is refreshing. However, if you dig deeper I think you'll find what he's saying about Jihad is that only a Caliph can declare offensive Jihad. Since there is currently no Caliph, technically there is no one who can declare Jihad. Seems like a nice enough guy, but doesn't really refute Spencer's assertion about Jihad.
That's an interesting spin but so far this thread is the only place I've seen it claimed that this Mosque has anything to do with being a memorial to the Muslims who died on 9/11. I bet Rauf is kicking himself for not having thought of that lol.
