If we were anything like the animals we would go through the bust and boom cycles that they do. Our longevity is artificially maintained but it cannot last forever because it is unnatural. We have created an imbalance in nature where a cataclysmic die off is inevitable. Humans do have some very special qualities but we are also very short sighted, incapable of foreseeing the long term consequences of our actions. All the information and signs are there but we choose to ignore them and continue blindly down the path of our own destruction. That doesn't seem too intelligent to me.

Individuals are not the same as the whole. As whole, humanity acts much like many other natural collectives... fighting over resources, consuming as it goes. That entity bumps up against the individual, whose altruism and desire to nest, demands conservation of resources. So we have programs that push the collective agenda, and programs that push the individual. It makes us unique that we understand the expressions of the individual, we're not just chimps screaming in frustration.

Lets say the palce is polluted,then we fill it to hide the pollution,then we put in trees and other plants,reintroduce animals there,which some are diggers,seems its acceptable for them,but we humans won't live on a contaminated land. kinda oddly hypocrite.

Just one taste would put her off raisins for life.
