socialism
worked and worked, to make the capitalist's that wealth in the first place. **** my life what a question. And what have the common peoples done to deserve someone else's cash?
ok. explain. because i can explain how capitalism is exploitation quite easily. it's evident all around you.Socialism is the perfect example of exploitation.

My point is not to expect someone else to "carry your load". I'm thinking we ought to build a system where everyone carried their own load, but where we allow everyone that opportunity to find the carrying easy through an entirely different method of reward.
Socialists are quite prepared to just steal money from those that earned or inherited it to give to those that have done absolutely nothing to deserve it. That is real exploitation. Only one of many colossal failings of socialism.
Colossal failing #2 Socialists heap excess taxes on those who make the most money. Where is the incentive to get ahead when the government is just going to take your hard earned money and give it to the freeloaders. Or worse just have it disappear into that black hole called government services.
And what's the bad news?Free markets have ALWAYS failed. Without tariffs consistent with establishing a productive, integrated, industrial economy; regulation; public ownership of natural monopolies (in transportation, energy, utilities, communication infrastructure); sovereign control of currency and credit (at fixed exchange rates), progressive taxation (treating capital gains beyond primary residence and modest retirement savings as EQUAL with that of earned income... we are headed for a global economic depression of unknown depth and duration and a World War that will inevitably result.
To the war profiteers. Who pay the lawyers. So, again. . .The government will pay.

socialists want to take the undeserved and excessive wealth of the capitalist class and distribute it to the people who actually worked for that money - the working class. taking the money back from the exploiters and giving it back to the workers. if you want to call that stealing it doesn't matter. this benefits society as a whole, it benefits a lot more people than what capitalism currently does.
you don't want to pay taxes but you call other people freeloaders, explain that one.
Is growing and raising your own food even though you are well paid not living hand to mouth too? Many would say it's too laborious and doesn't allow freedom to travel. To many this is an ideal goal and considered freedom. Others would rather work, buy their food and do as they please in their spare time and call it freedom.
What is your idea of freedom?

Conservatives give many times more to charities than do Libs.Greed is held as a conservative's virtue, and it's pathetic.
Time for a little clarification here about political definitions- it's been indicated to me in the last 24 hours that we don't have a Socialist Party in Canada.
