I don't think so. Trudeau has good support in Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes. If he is elected prime minister, he'll be there for years.

The fact he's getting support from Quebec has to tell you something!

A question came up the other night: If Trudeau is the next prime minister, who will be the next leader of the opposition? Harper.......or Mulcair?

I'll start to worry about that when I'm confronted with the problem of stale cheese on the far side of the moon! -:)

The election hasn't happened yet... so don't count your chickens before they are hatched. Polls are just that, polls.. if they poll everyone in Ontario, you're going to get a Liberal bios.

I'll wait to after the election to see the results..

Most of the working class will be happy they have a job, they will remember our economy out preformed the rest of the world.. and the ones with any common sense will vote Conservatives.

Yeah, the younger generation, pot heads, welfare bums... they will vote Liberal.

It's supposed to be the other way around.

We're supposed to get the Ontario curse where they go Cons for the country if Libs are voted provincially.

How does that make any sense?

Just trying to save you from the unnecessary stress of repeating the exact same thing over and over again.

It's my gift to you.

Now be free of your polling daemons!

this forum needs sage.
His illustrious Count Lothian due to overwhelming support shall rise to just that .
sage and a dash of paprika are in order.

The liberal movements have always created the Canada we all know and love and are cherished for abroad.

the conservative tool used by the banking establishment faltered this time out the gate due to the non entity of conservatives in the newly formed Alliance Party.

The mistaken identity of Harperism has wrought havoc on the People's of Canada and the time is now to bring back sanity to the country.
no more lies, honesty and altruistic governing are the order of the day.

Everywhere the alliance party is in tatters, conservative governments are being torn to shreds, Alberta has awoken to the denizens of hatred and entitlement.

the West will rise out of the shackles of obscurity and free Canada from the alliance party of Canada fathered in by Harper and that impotent Peter MacKay loser.

That's a very unique perspective on the issue and highly telling of the general tax environment we currently have in place

I read a book that gave me this perspective. I was just out of high school and this investment adviser wrote a book, something about the price of a coffee and muffin from Starbucks each day. Pay yourself first, he said. Put it into retirement savings. Eventually, you'd be surprised with how much of your take home pay one can actually live on.

That guides my investing style. I pay myself first. Or rather I've adjusted his phrase slighlty, in that I'm paying my retired self first.

ETA: It's not that I'm saying we should be fine with some %age of taxation, it's just that I imagine JLM gets by just fine even if he is being taxed 40%.

Sad thing is, Justin Trudeau will win. It's a new generation, and it's not about voting on policy, it's more about "America has Talent" - looks (pretty boy Trudeau). They might as well vote with their iPhone app.

Alberta will get screwed, Muslims will have an open door, and the USA will require Canadians get a Visa to visit the USA, just like Mexicans..

Then Harper should drop those stupid attack ads.

They aren't helping them at all.....especially the anti-pot ads.

It's good for the square base of old folks but not good for younger folks who feel they should be free to make that choice considering they get drunk and high anyways.

I'm not excited about Trudeau running this country but I sure do agree with his small l liberal stance on pot and if the Cons need to appeal to Margery and Walt to get votes they are screwed.

Plus as a bonus it would piss off the Muslims and other religious nuts.
