Why? If you read his posts for 10 minutes every day you might double your intelligence in a week. -:)

That may be what happens with you, and if you keep it up you should hit an IQ of 80 by the end of 2015.

I only skimmed over the 1st page, has anybody mentioned the red button?
(not that I have seen it very often lately and I attribute that to you rather than to me not deserving them)
What is probably more important is what you replace them with? If I give up booze for crack that isn't a step forward but at least there would be no hangovers. The -$1,000/day also sucks I would imagine.

If I am not mistaken the heart people say a glass of wine a day is not at all harmful although that is not the 13th step in recovery.

I'm going to give up giving people advice about Lent. The only luxury I have is visiting this place, ....... probably shouldn't have let that part out.

Even being Christian I only really pay attention to passover.

I only drink 600ml a day in the AM and won't freak out from jonesing.

I'm doing it because it's something I savour and really enjoy as part of my morning ritual of thought and reflection.

By the time Easter is over I'll be able to have my morning coffee outside sitting in the sunshine basking in all of God's glory as spring, a time of rebirth, kicks into high gear.
you are a true optimist, at this rate, spring should hit by about early August

I'm giving up lentils and hope that the money I lent a friend will return.
You might be better off pretending to be his friend and 'borrow' the same amount he owes you.

Which do you wish would come back more, the money or the friend?

Before the radiation coming and turning you into 'the fly' are you going to tell is to get ready? Just for fun you could get a few photos of the trees in blossom and you are wearing a pressurised white suit. (while relaxed out on that lounger)

We didn't get our August hot spell until September and then is was about a week long.
