Tell me what Stephen Harper did that was any different than any other politician to affect policy in Canada. In my opinion, nothing really. Gays still got married, abortions were still performed, the Canadian health care system is still intact. He was framed up as a monster because he was a westerner.



The present nitwit has very little idea what he is doing, so to make up for that he comes out with Gender Neutral Budgets, apologizes and writes checks. He stepped in it with SNC Lavelin, but his buddy, Gerald Butts, will sacrifice himself for the party. This type of scandal is something the Liberal party is famous for.

Well, Merriam Webster intentionally simplified American spellings back in the 19th century when he published his dictionary. Dropping the "our" in favour, flavour, etc. and spelling it with a simple "or" was part of that. The surprising thing is that nearly two centuries later, the rest of the english speaking world has not followed them ... only in America.
