My comment regarding you having an STD was a low blow. I apologize.
You know, it is part of my code, that when someone apologizes to me, I accept it and start anew.

But given how low you are willing to go, consistently, shallowly, cowardly, superficially, and childishly. While you cry about insults from others. Your apology means nothing, I don't believe you're even sorry.

You can take your apology and stuff it.

It differs in the manner that you bend over backwards to absolve the Khadr's of the world and make an equal effort to demonize everyone else.
Where did I absolve him? I was just saying that what is the difference between one set of violent behaviour and another. The point is, violence begets violence and this crap has been going on so long that nobody knows who threw the first punch. Perhaps it is time to reassess the situation, call a truce and see if we can be friends instead of all this emotional, knee jerk, reactionary crap.

What's emotional, kneejerk or reactionary about questioning the admittance of a known terrorist, into the country. Only to have him set up house with his family, that not only hate everything about Canada, but were instrumental in how he became what he is?

Where the hell is our immigration Minister? First we entertain bringing that
convict Black, back into Canada. The former Canadian, meaning he is now
a foreigner, is allowed to come home and live amongst us even those he
ripped off. Now we have Khadr. a foreigner who came here to be a Canadian,
got his citizenship and buggered off to fight against Canadian interests in a
foreign land. Not only that, his whole family has been a disgrace to this nation.
Why was he not stripped of his citizenship? The family was obviously not
truthful when they applied. Remember we sent back some former war criminals
in Europe for actions unbecoming as it were.
Khadr should never be allowed back in to Canada period.

By virtue of the non-condemnation of his actions but the heavy condemnation of all things American.

On this sentiment, I fully agree. That said, I think that the end result will be factions within some nations warring with each other internally. The concern here is that as the cries for assistance are heard, do we ignore them and mind our own business or get involved.

A catch-22 in my eyes.

There has always been a razor thin line between intervention and interference I think. And to further complicate matters, often there can be a humane argument made on either side too.

The only difference between intervention and interference is the perspective from which one analyses the situation. The unfortunate byproduct regardless of the decisions is that there is a useless waste of life in the process.

He was 15 for Christ sakes!

How'd you feel about having him in your home and around your family?

I'd wager that the last thing on your mind would be that he was 'only 15' when he was constructing IED's and throwing grenades at the enemy in the process of becoming a martyr.

Very few of us were the same at 25 as we were at 15. At some point this guy has be to given a chance to become a productive member of society.
If he knocked over the corner Mac's, I'd agree.

Or would you rather have him "warehoused" for the next 50 years?
You don't want to know.
