- You be the judge.
- Personally, I think any open minded reading of young part time drama teacher Trudeau's comments over the past couple of years suggests that he must be an agent provocateur of the Conservative Party planted to so inflame the 76.5% of Canadians who live outside of Quebec against the Liberal Party that his pending election as Liberal leader can only lead to the final denouement and demise of that once hugely successful organization.
- Lets start with his 2010 interview on Quebec TV in which he stated that the reason Canada was not doing so well at the moment was because it was being led by Westerners rather than Quebecers and that Canada always did best when it was governed by a prime minister from Quebec.
- Since Canada was substantially outperforming the rest of the G8 at the time, this comment about Canada doing badly was either an ignorant comment by a moron or a mischievious comment by an agent provocateur.
- And the notion that Canada always did better when led by a Quebec prime minister was not only offensive to the over 3/4 of Canadians not from Quebec and particularly to the growing number from the West but wildly inaccurate insasmuch as young part time drama teacher Trudeau's own father recklessly spent, taxed and borrowed the country to the brink of a bankruptcy that we are still paying off 28 years later.
- This absurd argument that a country in which Quebec with just 23.5% of the population and which has held the prime minister's chair for 57% of the past 65 years has not held prime ministerial power enough is also an effront to Canadians nation wide who subscribe to democracy.
- Then there was the bizarre comment that young part time drama student Trudeau made last year when minister Jason Kenny revealed the newly redrafted citizenship manual. Unlike the previous Liberal-written manual which said nothing of Canadian history or values or laws or expectations for immigrants, this new manual declared that such barabaric practices as honour killings and wife beatings and female genital circumcisions were against Canadian law and would not be tolerated. Trudeau criticized the government for using the term "barbaric practices". Surely only an agent provocateur would so anger the vast majority of Canadians by seeming to defend these, well, barbaric practices.
- The third inflammatory comment by young part time drama student Trudeau came early this year when he declared that he would join the separatists in Quebec if prime minister Harper was able to continue to "dismantle Canadian values" with a Tory agenda. This comment angered most Canadians (albeit not some of the crazies here) because exhibiting such a tenuous attachment to Canada and such an arrogant, spoiled brat attitude doesn't go down well with most of us. Aside from that, the attack on Harper and his government is patently absurd because this government has not persued a social policy reform agenda and the only things it has done in relation to Canadian values is to restore and reaffirm them in such media as immigration policy.
- So I put it to Canadian Content Nation ... surely this young man is nothing but a dangerous and destructive Tory agent provocateur sent to wreak hovac in and ultimately destroy the Liberal Party. Either that or he is an arrogant, spoiled, bigotted, ignorant moron who shouldn't be allowed to control the TV remote let along the third party in parliament and possibly the country.
- So which is it?
