He's not.

That is from a church in S. Africa.

The earliest Christian churches which are still in existence are Coptic Orthodox, Greek, and Maronite churches whose icons always portrayed Jesus as dark brown or black. The commonly used portrayals that are used for him today in the USA and Europe generally started with the Medicis.

early Greek Orthodox church portrayal:

While I am in general agreement that what skin tone he had is not entirely consequential, it should be noted that his portrayal as white, blue eyed, and Scandinavian in appearance is, historically speaking, comparatively recent.

Jesus Was Arabic, not black. His parents were of middle-eastern descent which would lead one to deduce he also was of middle eastern descent. Now maybe Mary had something going on the side with a black dude which would of course explain the darker tone but at that time in history the only blacks in the region were slaves and servants so that would mean the mother of Jesus was not only not a virgin but also an adulteress sl*t. Let's hear discussion from the religious right on that possibility.

Sorry, he wasn't bred and mustered with the Sons of Ham. He was one of the sons of Shem, not Arab.

Firstly there's no such thing as Black people in terms of nationality. Its either your an Israelite (the so called African American by default) or a non Israelite (Gentile) plain and simple.

Also, there are some light skinned and dark skinned African Americans., so the question was, how long was he left in the oven for ??

That said, what does color have to do with anything... He was the Son of God and preached tolerance and comparison, just the opposite of what half the idiot posters on CC defend... Islam.

The strong hit which Jews had received from Jesus Christ: when the message was shifted from them to the Gentiles, and the second fatal hit which they received from Prophet Mohammed: when the message was stopped to be within Jews, and the revelation was thus curtailed from Jews.
The shifting of the revelation from the sons of Isaac (the father of Jacob: Israel) to the sons of Ishmael (the grandfather or Prophet Mohammed) ... this of course has made Jews hate very much both Jesus and Mohammed.
Such shifting of the revelation is according to God, not according to Jews or others, and none may object to it, other than only the ungodly.
So the best way to ignore Jesus and say: he even did not come and he was a myth.

Anyone who reads the Gospel (even though there is much obvious distortion and defect) will discover that Jesus was a prophet and the Gospel is from God.
Today, I was searching the Gospel about a certain word, and I saw the parable of the son who took his share and went away from his father, then he lost his property then was obliged to return to his father, but was afraid lest his father may not accept him, but then when he returned and his father saw him from a distance, he run to welcome him; this is the parable of the one who repents from his sins and turns to God his Lord with regret and remorse. So such parable cannot be said in such a way unless from a prophet: truly, I wept when I read it.

Here it is this marvelous parable:

You do realize that your glorious Mohamed is the exact opposite of Christ, right? Christ taught peace, while Mohamed made war. Christ talked of offering the other cheek while Mohamed taught revenge. Christ talked of judging not and Mohamed taught judging harshly for the smallest indiscretion.

and last but not least, Christ spent his time with Adults and played with the children, while Mohamed fu_cked 9 year olds.

Aren't most Christians black?

Christianity is the largest religion on Earth. 33% of all human beings are Christans. One in every three people on Earth is Christian.

A 2011 Pew Research Center survey found that 76.2% of Europeans, 73.3% in Oceania, and about 86.0% in the Americas (90% in Latin America and 77.4% in North America) described themselves as Christians. 16,000 African Muslims are converting to Christianity every day. Islam is losing 6 million African Muslims a year to becoming Christians, including Muslims in Algeria, France, Iran, India, Morocco, Russia, and Turkey, Kosovo, Azerbaijan and Central Asia. It is also reported that Christianity is popular among people of different backgrounds in India (mostly Hindus),and Malaysia, Mongolia, Nigeria, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Japan and South Korea.

In America, black Americans are more likely to identify themselves as Christians than white Americans.

I think it's safe to say that the chances are that most Christians are black. And I think it's safe to say that most Christians don't give two hoots what colour of skin Our Lord had.

That probably explains a good amount of the anti-Christian rhetoric.

Hey wait!! Who's the evil bunch here? According to the Bible, Satan never even killed one person, leveled any cities and destroyed other peoples stuff, etc., yet Jahovah killed more than 10,000,000 (someone counted one time), leveled cities, etc. So it's the old do as I say, not as I do sort of bovine fertilizer.
If something doesn't go your way, throw a temper tantrum. Not cool. Better to be patient and figure out a better way.

No, he was not; I saw him in one of my true dreams or visions during sleep.
He was white but not albino of course, somewhat pale as do I remember.
With Jewish or Israelite fine features. His face was somewhat longer than they draw him with a small triangular face.
And he was tall, with serious expression, not smiling.

Sounds a lot like my dear departed Grandfather. Sure you got the right guy? ;-)

It's OK. Santa Claus is white.

Or.............maybe not.
