And retardinhood isn't aware that carbon capture is a joke on greens and people who pay tax. CO2 is a solvent which oil companies use to revitalize once thought empty sweet crude fields or speed up extraction of heavy oil fields. They couldn't ask afor a better gift than have taxpayers fund sequestration conversions to coal and NG power plants and pipelines to distribute the CO2 around the patches. On top it all off the CO2 is released in the refinnig process and up the stack it goes.

James Hansen Admits Global Temperature Standstill Is Real
The amount of carbon dioxide has been going up steadily, we're still getting record setting warm years even during a time of record solar inactivity, James Hansen's predictions from 1981 have or are in the process of coming true.
The radiative imbalance of +0.6 w/m^2 that already exists is being added to constantly by increasing the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere and all the negative stuff that has already been costing people billions of dollars in damage is going to continue plus worse as the sea levels keep rising.
Hansen has been doing a great job and will continue to educate people based on facts, not the kind of distortions that some here seem to believe passes for a valid counterargument.

I'll be walking the beach tonight. Same beach I walked as a kid. The sea wall will be in the same location it was when I was a kid. The same beach the Pilgrims (and Native Americans) walked along back in the day. Maybe I'll walk up the bluff (a short walk from the surf) to see the pile of oyster shells left behind by Puritan settlers where a tavern once was. The tavern used to serve oysters to those early settlers and they dumped them in a pile and there they remain. The tavern and people that ate there has been gone for hundreds of years... but the beach and the ocean are in the same spot.
Well you just burst everyone's bubble man... We all thought this global warming was a joke! Thanks! Now I'm all depressed again...

the world. Are we going to see the hotter than hell itself conditions coming to a weather map
near you? Likely not. The hippies started a movement. The special interest groups stole the
agenda from them and used fear to raise more money than any other religion and Green has
become a religion.
Just when the special interests thought they had a golden goose. the transnational corporations
stole the agenda from the special interest. Instead of governments funding special interests
they began funding corporations so they could retool and change the face of the economy and
governments can then tax all the out of date products forcing us to buy new ones.
Government decided to fund themselves using green and forced the companies to do the next

Don't be alarmed but we live in an ice age that has been intensifying for the past 5 million years.
We got lucky and were born during the peak of a cyclical warming and cooling phenomenon that has been running smoothly since the middle of the Pleistocene.
Prior to that the cycles were every 100ky(kilo year) and 41ky
In the past 350,000 years there have been 9 interglacial periods where temperatures and gases (yes, GHGs, CO2, CH4..the works and the dealiest of them all dihydrogen monoxidide) have peaked and then plummeted almost instantly back into full on freeze your tits off continental glaciation all 100% without the help of man.
The10th continental glaciation is approaching faster than anyone is prepared for.
It's 100% guaranteed and if some green bean tries to tell you otherwise they are without question off their fvcking rocker and a bane on mankind that needs to be eliminated immediatly to preserve the DNA of the sane and strong as we go into another cold period of human history which only the sane and strong can survive.

To many of us it is a joke. If you wish to be depressed and paranoid about the ocean lapping against your front steps in a few years then we can't help.
