I've stated a few times that I could be wrong about teh whole ting, though I don't think I am. Conversely, you make your arguments with certainty and are dismissive of counterarguments. Basically adopting the attitude that you accuse me and other global warming proponents of having.

How is the magnetosphere doing these days? Rock solid?

How would the magnetosphere interact with incoming solar radiation? I thought that it interacted with charged particles. Photons are not charged particles.

The charged particles are, I think, carried on the solar wind. I think there are charged particles created in the upper atmosphere due to the interaction of molecules with ionizing radiation. But the soalr radiation itself wouldn't interact much witht he magnetosphere.

The solar wind is charged particles released by the Sun, mostly electrons and protons.

They're different from the light that the Sun also emits which is electromagnetic radiation that passes through the magnetosphere and most of the sunlight passes unaffected through the Earth's atmosphere. The EM radiation that the Earth emits has a much longer wavelength because the Earth is much cooler than the Sun. The photons in this range are readily absorbed by gases like CO2 which is why having more of them in the air results in warming as more longwave radiation is intercepted and re-emitted back to the Earth's surface.
