There is no dispute that Castro was a dictator.
Mmmmmk.....I hear a but coming.
Nobody can ever say he put his own interests over those of a Cuba his revolution liberated. Castro didn't even live in a palace with faucets of gold - as do some evangelists in a nation that worships money.
I'm just curious how you know this for fact, I'm not referring to the hate filled ignorant comment about money, I'm referring to Castro not living in palaces with gold faucets. I have personally heard "rumors", unverifiable I might add, he has 7 or 8 residences obtained by previous elites in the country. I can't verify either way if he did or didn't. Educate me.....please.
Castro's policies weren't those of a people pleaser simply because he had nobody to please but Cuba. His greatest of policies kept Cuban wealth in Cuba.
Wealth in Cuba, where public buildings are collapsing from decades of neglect, where basic necessities are scarce or even completely absent. Let me guess? The embargo!! OK, so there is an embargo by the US Why isn't anyone else trading, like...hmmmm...Canada?
Maybe that's the one reason that nation ruled by money eyes an island to the south of Florida with so much suspicion. They dared to say NO!
Woof!
You mean HE dared to say no, don't you?
