It's a fact: climate change made Hurricane Harvey more deadly

Poor Flossie, still doesn't comprehend the concept of advocacy "science". Or much of anything for that matter.

You really need to understand that Flossy is an ardent supporter of all things sciencey, especially (and almost exclusively) of the sciencey thingys and factoids that support his brand of mental illness, err, I meant to say reality

No such thing as 'advocacy science'.

You are confusing that with activists who may also be scientists.
   It's sad how little you understand of much of anything. I've never met anyone who was so adamant about showing off his lack of intellectual capacity.

When you are being paid to get a certain result, when you intentionally omit data from your computer models because said data is inconvenient to the conclusion you wish to get paid for, that's called advocacy science. Particularly when there's any politics surrounding the subject.
When you loudly and persistently exclaim that "the science in settled", that's cheering for advocacy science because as has been proven throughout the history of science, it is rarely, if ever, settled.
Oh, and 97% of 33% is not a consensus on anything. Twisting those stats is just a way to make the advocacy science sound more legit.

Oh how stupid the climate change deniers are.

They're truly the flat earthers of our age lol

This is just basic science.

According to the Clausius-Clapeyron Equation, every 0.5 degrees Celsius of warming means an extra 3% or so of moisture in the air. And Harvey grew over an ocean that was 1 to 1.5 degrees Celsius warmer than just a few decades ago, which means there’s around 5% more moisture in the atmosphere, Mann explained.

Who's denying climate change? Oh THAT'S right, it's because you're f*cking stupid enough to believe that anyone who doesn't swallow the AGW tripe is a climate change denier.

Even David Suzuki has finally admitted that it's questionable that humans are the driving factor. Is climate change real? Of course it is. You'd have to a complete moron of Flosstard levels to believe otherwise.

But it's funny listening to some f*ckwit who knows dick about math or science preach to me about being a "flat earther" type because I don't believe AGW is the problem. And here's how goddam stupid your analogy is. Basic physics dictates that a sphere is a natural formation in a vacuum. We can even see how Earth is curved through views from orbit.
All you have for proof of AGW is a bunch of GIGO computer models, every single one of which has been WRONG!! Oh, and the opinion of 32% of climate scientists that says AGW is real.

Northern Ontario,
And I've said before that I'm all for reducing pollution, of all kind, air and water, because If noticed the difference in the air I breathe and the water in the rivers and lake when I travel from the north to toronto.

But global warming caused by humans is just a dog and pony show to convert the gullible to a new religion, and a few people to make money and pay for trips at our expense...

For myself I don't like paying tithe to a church I don't belong to!

You very first article blamed Harvey on currents.

Its a fact. In a alternate reality where humans never existed the planet would be very different.

Its a fact, in a alternate reality where trees don't exist the planet would be very different.

Its a fact, in a alternate reality where the sun didn't exist the planet would be very different.

Its a fact that without the sun, the earth would be a much darker planet. The sun makes earth much brighter everyday then if it didn't exist.

Its a fact that earth would be very different without water.

Its a fact hurrican Harvey could have been avoided in a alternate reality where no water existed on earth.

Its a fact mentalflake doesn't understand that we understand humans have a influence on earth, but we understand that its natural that natural phenomenons have natural influences on nature.

if our faith is to self destruct, im very happy with that.no need to change a thing.

I doubt anyone here wants to actually learn anything, but it's fun to watch the deniers either way

It's a fact: climate change made Hurricane Harvey more deadly.

It's total bs.

The hurricanes that form off of the coast of Africa and follow the Gulf Stream and North Equatorial Currents westward across the Atlantic are caused by the temperature differential between the Gulf Stream and superheated tropical waters of the North Equatorial Current. They happen at specific times, late summer and early fall, as the Gulf Stream waters cool under the influence of the Labrador Current and a decline in surface heat as the daylight shortens after the summer equinox, and the Equatorial Currents are still above 80 deg. F.

If there are more and more intense hurricanes, its because the temperature differential has increased, and the Northern Hemisphere is in a cyclical cooling phase.

The AGW lobby is filled with lies, sophistry, fear mongering. They are utterly deluded and spellbound by the wizards of the craft, and their dark agenda for mankind.

Harvey wasn't really that strong of a storm. Cat 3 at the best (and barely). What made it devastating is that it got stuck over Houston and Houston was rather poorly designed and located.
