Are they the majority in the nation now?

World history is made up of shifting populations, one layer atop another.........
Were Jews the prominent culture or the majority living in Palestine when they were given the land they now call Israel?

Is that a last ditch effort?

Something I've noticed since returning to CC is the clique of individuals who will argue to vilify Israel no matter what the question. Once the discussion gets to that point its no longer a discussion. So no its not a last ditch effort, just a good reason to disengage from the argument because it is not about the facts, it's about hating Jews.

Pointy headed discussions are a waste of time.

In my humble opinion.

Clearly you're a brilliant person, I must agree with your amazingly witty analysis. Anytime Israel is criticized it's nothing more then antisemitism. Because ISRAEL is perfect and it has done absolutely nothing wrong, EVER!

Here are some more 'facts. Should the 400+ 'disappeared' Arab villages be examined one-by-one as each has it's own set of 'unique facts'.

Certainly we cannot compare the sophistication of the Palestinian residents of 1948 with those of today. (for various reasons) Ever wonder what it effect it would have had upon the world if Great Briton just upped and left the Mid-East in 1948. No Israel, no Palestinian state, just land open for surrounding countries to move in and claim. I don't think a Mid-East would exist eve close to what we have today, they would have destroyed each other with religious squabbling and a Jewish state would still have risen from the ashes. Why you ask, because the Jewish people are far more united than the various Muslim sects. All this speculation of course.

From your slanted perspective IMHO.

or they could have went to live and prosper in the JAR and still can today.

1. There is no Jewish Biblical claim to Palestine.
2. There is no legal Zionist claim to Palestine.

'Nuff said.
Is the Bible Fact or Fiction? Archaeology's Discoveries - TIME

I have posted this before - And Yes the evidence is there.

Damm - Gotta think up a new one now.

6.3 billion people are wrong? not likely

So the majority is always right according to this?????????

That cultural advancement was under the direction of Britain for 20 years, that would explain the conditions of the cities, after all this is the same group that came up with Reservations as being the correct 'gratitude' for the land and all it's riches.
They were poor rural farming villages before that also. It now a big prison for two groups of people and for the best bang for the buck the Sinai could look like Vegas. Western interests and ways only benefit the top 10% of the ones who hold surplus cash.

The West had no such intentions as soon as the discovered the new world, kill the locals and rape the land was the order of the day. The proof is they made money on both events, when something goes wrong it costs them money, that hasn't happened in a very long time.

"Relatively empty" once the 400 villages and 650,000 thousand people went 'missing' from their rural homes, What did they farm?? A forest of pine that just went up in smoke.

His opinion is well founded. By the way how did you survive?
That may be but I don't think it over-rides the opinion of the ones who live in and around the immediate area. I'll take that back as soon as Gaza gets to say what happens in Alberta, no matter what our (the locals) opinion is.

How did I survive? I happened to listen carefully to a few speeches of some US Presidents. JFK on secret societies is a good place to make your ears perk up. They shot him before that train of thought went very far. A few other Presidents also had some informative speeches, always as the farewell speech sop they wouldn't get shot. Some other knowledgeable men did the same. Perhaps that is why Alice was written instead of in a blunt speech. It kept him and his family alive. I've already posted all the vids I have on the subject.

Makes you wonder:

Was the majority right voting for Obama?

Is the Majority right to prefer FOX News?
Fox and News is like Oil and Water. The Enquirer of TV news would be appropriate i would say.

Listen to Oreilly enough and i am sure you could be brainwashed. Same as Lou Dobbs. Not News - Yes i would Include that God of the Right Wing Wignuteroos - Glenn - I have never used the Tern Nazi - Beck -

But then again YJ, you swear by them as living idols that speak the truth.

Myself I also swear, but at them for their incitement of anything that walks, moves or talks.

They are the ememy of common decency, of tolerance, of the right to be different.

petros, since your post had absolutely nothing to do with the topic one must conclude that that you just described your future home, generously speaking.

Actually, more like the home you should have been in for the last half century.

Maybe you should invite goober to be your room-mate.

Neither I nor Petros will go - You can keep that room to yourself.
