That's a good thing sleepy. As you already know and see the rest of the world picking up the same curriculum. That's a long overdue advancement in universal education that humanity can't help but prosper from.

Nothing will come of the murder as Israeli soldiers can murder Palestinian children and it isn't a crime... so the Israeli court has judged.

An Israeli army officer who fired the entire magazine of his automatic rifle into a 13-year-old Palestinian girl and then said he would have done the same even if she had been three years old was acquitted on all charges by a military court yesterday.

The soldier, who has only been identified as "Captain R", was charged with relatively minor offences for the killing of Iman al-Hams who was shot 17 times as she ventured near an Israeli army post near Rafah refugee camp in Gaza a year ago.

The manner of Iman's killing, and the revelation of a tape recording in which the captain is warned that she was just a child who was "scared to death", made the shooting one of the most controversial since the Palestinian intifada erupted five years ago even though hundreds of other children have also died.

After the verdict, Iman's father, Samir al-Hams, said the army never intended to hold the soldier accountable.

"They did not charge him with Iman's murder, only with small offences, and now they say he is innocent of those even though he shot my daughter so many times," he said. "This was the cold-blooded murder of a girl. The soldier murdered her once and the court has murdered her again.

No I don't hate anyone, not even the Israeli soldier that emptied his clip into a little girl. You showed one side of this conflict which portrays Israeli soldiers as nice people and I posted another view which shows some Israeli soldiers aren't very nice.

I have no problems with Israeli soldiers who do their duty and defend their country honorably. That probably describes about 98% of IDF soldiers. But the IDF like any organization does have a few bad apples and they can get away with murdering innocent civilians just like Captain R got away with murdering a little girl on her way to school.

Here are the stats for dead children in this conflict for the last 12 years:

I know I won't convince people like ES who drink the pro-Zionist Kool-aid, or people who suffer Islamaphobia. But everyone who knows both sides of this conflict doesn't share ES's rosy opinion of all Israeli soldiers.

In my opinion, the Israeli courts should not tolerate murder. Good IDF soldiers should demand that the bad ones are held accountable for their crimes. A little bit of justice would go a long way towards peace. But while Palestinians suffer cruel injustice and oppression, Israelis won't have peace no matter how many Palestinian war criminals (or innocent civilians) they kill. That's just an observation regarding human nature, not a wish.

From a Canadian viewpoint I disagree with the Harper government having a close relationship with Zionist war criminals. We should stay neutral in this conflict and provide humanitarian aid. When both sides agree to a truce, we should be open to sending in Canadian peacekeepers.

The most likely outcome of this conflict given current trends is Israel's complete annihilation by militant groups armed with man portable munitions... Its only a matter of time. I recommend Israeli citizens leave before that happens. I recommend Canada, as we are a friendly nation which does not tolerate religious discrimination. Please bring your skills and knowledge. Please leave your hatred back in Israel.
