An Israeli missile ripped through a two-story home in a residential area of Gaza City on Sunday, killing at least 11 civilians, including four young children and an 81-year-old woman, in the single deadliest attack of Israel's offensive against Islamic militants.

A similar scene unfolded elsewhere in the city early Monday, when an airstrike leveled two houses belonging to a single family, killing two children and two adults and injuring 42 people, including children, said Gaza heath official Ashraf al-Kidra. Rescue workers were frantically searching for 12 to 15 members of the Azzam family under the rubble.

While the airstrikes relentlessly targeted militant rocket operations, Israeli gunboats unleashed a steady tattoo of heavy machine gun fire and shells at militant facilities on Gaza's coastal road.

A member of the Abdel Aal family is rescued after his family house collapsed during an Israeli forces strike in the Tufah neighbourhood

Are you aware that Muslim extremists in Iraq for one example used children that were 8 - 10 -12 years old - strapped up with a bomb and sent to areas where US troops were in cities and such.

If Captain R thought this little girl was a threat, he would not have walked up beside her as she writhed in agony and filled her body with bullets. More likely he would have kept his distance.

But feel free to continue to defend Captain R's cruel actions.

Not to Worry, Hamas, Maddow's Got Your Back

MSNBC's insipid slogan -- "Lean Forward." MSNBC strategy when reporting on hostilities in the Middle East -- "Lean Toward Blaming Israel."

The network's Rachel Maddow provided an example of this on her show Friday while describing the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas.

MADDOW (after referring to President Obama's visit to Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar): And of course the whole trip to Asia comes in the midst of a very scary flareup between Israel and Gaza. Now, we do not know exactly what started this most recent round of fighting, but we do know that an Israeli air strike killed the top commander of Hamas in Gaza on Wednesday. And we know then that that was followed by rocket attacks aimed at southern Israel and then Tel Aviv and then today, Jerusalem. Israel has been pounding Gaza with air strikes. The attacks appeared today to be rapidly escalating, including signs that Israel is preparing for a ground incursion into Gaza. The New York Times tonight citing reports of Israeli tanks massing on the border with Gaza.

I was describing an event that happened in response to an image posted by ES of an IDF soldier handing a little Palestinian girl a candy. ES's intent was to portray IDF soldiers as kind towards children. No doubt that some are. But others are cruel and heartless.

Please put up the link where THAT soldier killed THAT little girl (exactly as you worded it) We are not talking of some thirteen-year-old who happens to live on in your propaganda - or of the sound made as you extract your foot from your mouth as you attempt to back-peddle away from your own words.

As I've said many times of your habitual garbage: Propaganda and hateful intent.

I'm certain you are aware that bodies of dead Gaza children have been pulled from the destroyed buildings that you referenced in your posts. How are you able to mock their suffering? Do you lack compassion?

IMO, you are no different than those who celebrated on 9/11.

KAAABOOOOOM!

Bombing cities is old news:

KAAABOOOOOM!

I see no differences between one group of hate inspired war criminals killing innocent civilians and another. The war mongerers have successfully manipulated your irrational hate and fear. Now you celebrate the death of innocent people in 2012 just like Franco did in 1937 and Bin Laden did in 2001.

For the record I am against killing any civilians... Gazans, Americans, Israeli...

Extremely poor illustrations, EAO.

The 9-11 attacks were made on a completely civilian target without warning, and without purpose other than to kill, by Islamist maniacs exactly like Hamas.

Picasso's Guernica depicts the mass bombing of that city by Spanish fascists in the Spanish Civil War..........once again a mass attack on civilians for no other reason than to kill. Something like the Islamofascists of Hamas keep trying to do to Israel.

Meanwhile Israel strikes back in self-defense with surgical hits against the leaders of Hamas......

The reason why you believe I'm supporting genocide ...
Because you promoted the genocide of Israelis.

Face it, you, like Mhz and Db would love nothing more than to see a smoldering Israel.

EAO just hates Jews, I don't think he wants to see them all dead like you Mhz and Db.

d.

Oh there was definitely reason and a legitimate purpose, but you aren't interested in that ****. You're interested in only demonizing but never understanding.

Because you promoted the genocide of Israelis.

When?

Yeah...because American troops were in Saudi Arabia, which they had defended from a secular meglomaniacal lunatic from Iraq.

That's what I call gratitude, Muslim style.

Wow, still believing the same old bull****, years after the facts were available. Even worse promoting is as being true when it has been proved that it was false all the time. Just another normal day for you or what? I do have my faults but spreading known lies is not one of them.

(in part)
Our Government Has Already Been
Caught Lying About Iraq

It turned out that the "Iraqi troops satellite photos" were fake "We were told that Iraqi troops were massing at the Saudi border. And these satellite photographs were shown to the Saudi leadership, to get them to change their mind and allow US troops to enter their country.
Well it turned out that those satellite photos were fake. They never existed. The story was broken in the St. Petersburg Times some months later. And it was something that people were convinced of because we were told it was satellite photographs"- Phyllis Bennis from the Institute for Policy Studies

There was virtual unanimous acceptance by the media of the allegedly enormous manpower behind Saddam's territorial ambition. Only the St. Petersburg Times, a well-respected Florida daily under independent ownership, challenged the government line. In a top-of-front-page story published on Sunday, January 6, Washington bureau reporter Jean Heller reported that satellite photos of the border between southern Kuwait and Saudi Arabia taken on September 11 and 13, 1990, by a Soviet company revealed "no evidence of a massive Iraqi presence in Kuwait in September. . . ." "A number" of American news organizations had bought the same pictures (see article below) and shown them to various experts, [satellite imagery expert Peter] Zimmerman said, and "all of us agreed that we couldn't see anything in the way of military activity in the pictures." But again cautiousness overcame curiosity among the media.( from footnotes to Understanding Power)
Our Government lied about Iraq before

Oh yeah....and America supports the only liberal democracy in the Middle East.

The horror!!!
Hezbollah in Lebanon?? Nice to see you can respect elected governments,
