Yes it is believed to be an EXTERIOR wall of the original Temple of Solomon but the access the Jews have is to the outside. It is not within a shrine or a temple if a church. In fact is sits beneath the second temple and the Dome of the Rock (an Islamic mosque). There is little hard evidence it comes from the original temple ad that site has been destroyed and built upon several times. The plaza where they congregate and pray is open and accessible to the public.
And...nothing.
They're trying to make a case that just won't float. They'll ignore whatever it takes, and justify whatever they have to, to try and compare Israel to the majority of Islamic states.

The problem is we aren't talking about a segment of Israeli society here, we're talking about comparing a high court ruling to keep the peace (Not based on religious doctrine) v the stringent and archaic laws and policies of Islamic states based solely on religious doctrine.

I agree. But comparing the rules regarding a religious site to the blanket discrimination that women face in Islamic countries certainly is. Actually, it's idiotic to the extreme.

I'd acknowledge that it was discrimination in the context you paint it, if it was a blanket state policy that was enforced across the country.
But it isn't.
It's a rule at the holiest of Jewish sites, a religion you don't have to adhere to reside in Israel, or even visit the Wall.
Other rules at the Wall are, visiting women are asked to dress modestly, and wear a shawl. They even provide shawls and wraps for visiting women that are wearing shorts. Men are asked to dress in plain colours and both visiting genders are asked to respect the fact that it is a religious site.
Israel isn't a stoneage country where any none Jews are barred from visiting the site, like Mecca, which just goes to show how idiotic your position and your posts are.
I'd feel sorry for you if the idiocy contained in your posts didn't make me laugh.
