Have to admit Israel blew it this time. This just might open up the blockade.

I'm pretty sure radar works at night so being sneaky wasn't part of their plan. lol

Perhaps they told the Israeli Navy that they could not board their ship, as they had the right to do. Israel certainly puts up a stink in the news when they are threatened with a boycott. Time to take their weapons away also.

They chose to ignore the early warnings, before the ships even set sail.

They were hailed and told to stop and prepare to be boarded.

Then they were boarded by force, where the Israeli Navy was met with axes, pipes and limited gun fire.

They responded likewise.

The Israeli's have impounded the ships, and detained the passengers for deportation. They have also stated that the aid will be allowed to go on, once the ships are searched for weapons and munitions.

Had the organizers and their supporters not tried to be dicks, this could have easily been avoided. But since the organizers only recognize and condemn the Israeli blockade, while ignoring the blockade by Egypt, it's safe to say that this is simply an antagonist move. Supported by morons and defended by like minded idiots.

But I fully suspect that this will be lost on so many here and around the world.

Your absolutely right about radar, however it gives only location not what it is or who's flag the ship is flying.
They can can tell the Israeli navy whatever they want, however there is an embargo which the Israelis intend to continue. You want to take Israeli weapons away make you do the same for all their neighbours from Morocco through to Indonesia.

The "peace activists" cough cough choke choke lol got exactly what they wanted. They're not stupid, they know Israel and Israeli's are the only country and people in the world not allowed to defend themselves. This had nothing to do with humanitarian aid and everything to do with goading Israel and creating just the outcome that we saw. The "peace activists" cough cough choke choke lol I'm sure are disappointed that so few of them were killed. Would have been so much better if Israel had sunk 2 or 3 of ships, way more impact with a higher casualty rate. lol

2 days ago a woman in the flotilla said "there two possible happy endings to this trip....martyrdom, or we reach Gaza".

lol, yeah martyrdom a happy ending to a humanitarian trip. Tells you all you need to know right there.

Who the **** cares? Learning where Israel is on a map is hardly an essential educational aspect.
Besides I'm sure Palestinians know far too well of Israel's existence and where it is without the use of a map.

Did the Liberty shoot back, there was supposed to be somebody from the Liberty on that aid convoy. The last vid I saw that interviewed some survivors makes it clear are still pretty pissed about being abandoned by their Commander and Chief. In that Johnson has been quoted as saying, "I want that goddamn ship on the bottom." one has to question the sanity of your leaders. A real Leader would have had every NATO country pointing barrels at Israel. Really taking out an Allie just because they recorded Pilots question the orders to kill the Egyptian Soldiers as they could not spare the men to guard them, Syria need the troops and so they killed them all in an hailstorm of bullets. A war crime. Did you think they would repent and get civilized?
