You (very) obviously haven't read the Hamas Charter. It is also unfortunate that the Palestinians can't seem to rise up against HAMAS because that is the source of both Palestinians and Israeli's problems. Israel cannot solve the problem - the Palestinians themselves have to and Israel knows this all too well. Thus, they're using only enough force to try to reduce members of Hamas. Too bad Hamas has the habit of using Palestinians as shields.
But all this STILL won't convince you, so I'm not sure why I'm bothering. What I have stated is not new and is well known world-wide but you're mind is made up. Well, so is mine!!

Gaza was under control of the IDF for about 40 years before Hamas existed so really Israel has been getting beat up for almost 70 years. That quite a strategy to show the world how great you are. Hamas didn't restart a the war you useless neanderthal, there was only a weak intermittent temporary truces that Israel wasn't committed to keeping.
Israel killed over 1000 of innocent Palestinian civilians, this isn't how you end a war it's how you amplify it and ensure future generations filled with anger and hatred.

That's right. And that is why I said PROPOSED or accepted by Israel.........and REFUSED or broken by Hamas. Hamas has broken the treaties they agreed to......and refused perfectly reasonable ceasefires. Therefore the death is on their heads. You can NOT make a peace with an enemy sworn to murder you all. And you certainly can not surrender to them.
I have no doubt that the vast majority of Palestinians want peace. And, if they do, they need to throw Hamas out........Israel is not responsible for Hamas, the Palestinian people ARE. Israel has committed no war crimes. Self defense is not a crime.
