Ideologue or realist? Maybe one in the same. But would Allah approve of our open exchange? Doesn't matter as he is one of the few thousand gods you don't believe in. So you're good there.

WHat you are not acknowledging is the fact that you are also limiting what people should believe and discuss.

What the news didn't tell you was that, over two blocks, a bunch of Baptists were also burning an LGBT flag.

What you're not acknowledging is the fact it is backlash against religion. Unfortunately, TOO many religious zealots believe their religious rights trump my civil rights. Even more unfortunate is the number of idiots in govt and in the courts who believe that minority religious rights DO indeed trump common civil rights.

And what's truly ironic about your comment is, that's exactly what happens when it comes to islam. There really isn't much freedom to publicly discuss one's absolute hatred of islam.
Plenty of room to discuss one's absolute hatred of Christianity though. No SJWs are going to get their panties in a twist about that. No special interest group is going to lawyer up and sue you for hurting their feelings.

So what? Protesters protest. It is hardly a shock. Did they kill anyone like some Christians did at abortion clinics?
This is what Bill Maher calls the soft bigotry of low expectations. 10s of thousands of people are killed in the name of Islam and that doesn't phase you, but you're still agitated about the abortion bombing of 1987. This sort of hypocrisy is what Maajid Nawaz (a liberal Muslim) refers to as the regressive left.

I see, so it comes down to... "they did it, so, so can I" gotcha.

Islamic protesters burn LGBT flag calling it ‘offensive’

HOUSTON, TX- Smoke choked the streets of the city of Houston yesterday as Islamic protesters gathered to oppose the Supreme Court’s decision upholding gay marriage. Throughout the day members of the Muslim community prowled the city streets, tearing down LGBT flags from public buildings and private residences. A large pile containing hundreds of LGBT flags was burned later during a massive anti-gay-marriage rally.

Terrified residents hid in their homes and workplaces as a giant mob of over 3,000 Muslim men and women marched through the streets while pointing their fingers in the air and shouting ‘death to the homosexuals,’ ‘Allahu Akbar,’ and other homophobic slurs mixed with praises of Allah.

Susan Griffon, an outspoken lesbian and LGBT supporter, had her nose broken with the heel of a shoe that was used like a club, as she wrestled with a group of protesters ripping an LGBT flag out of her cigar shop window. The assailants who beat her shouted, “you are not a man, stop dressing like it.” They walked off with the flag, leaving her unconscious on the sidewalk.

Muhmar Al-Sajeer, one of the organizers of the rally, welcomed attention of the media. “We have objected verbally time and again to the LGBT people,” he told reporters. “We told them we did not want to see their insensitive rainbow flag everywhere, as it offends our eyes and souls. They ignored our pleas and flaunted that filth in our faces anyway. The only way we could respond to their provocation was to take back our streets by force.”

check out the shoes, this explains everything.

Very interesting, one group demands respect in a mixed community and in the
same community they disrespect a different group in the community. On the
other hand are they any worse than born again Christians who display the same
disrespect?

Don't get too excited, it's another one of Boomers bogus stories as in it never happened. Most likely Houston was chosen because they have a openly Gay Mayor.

You have to have sympathy for him as even he said 'people don't like me when they meet me'. He's lonely and looking for attention but doesn't realize how he appears........

"I don’t like homosexuals but why is the picture of the burnt flag the exact same picture as the one burnt at the NYC LGBT community center?"

A protest is a protest regardless of who protests. I do not see the big deal.
And Bomper simply hates anything Muslim. There is nothing new there either.
And someone asked me when it was that some Christians bombed abortion clinics. Well, we have a search engine called Google, there is also Yahoo, Bing, Duckduckgo, etc. But,
Abortion Clinic Bombings
and
Anti-Abortion Violence: America's Forgotten Terrorism
and so on and so forth

This is what Bill Maher calls the soft bigotry of low expectations. 10s of thousands of people are killed in the name of Islam and that doesn't phase you,
Really? How would you know what phases me? If you had been paying attention to anything I wrote about violence, war, etc., you would have not even thought about making such an inane comment.
but you're still agitated about the abortion bombing of 1987. This sort of hypocrisy is what Maajid Nawaz (a liberal Muslim) refers to as the regressive left.
You have no idea what you are gibbering about. That makes you about on the same level of intelligence as selfsame.

Or perhaps it has nothing to do with whether you pay attention or not; perhaps it is more that you simply cannot comprehend what people say because of your irrational hatred.

The case points out the idiocy of trying to develop a 'diverse, inclusive, tolerant' society when all the 'victimized' minorities of that society are at each others throats. It's what happens when a society cuts its moral roots and becomes entranced with radical individualism and moral relativism without any moral foundation of its own.. just a lot of sentimental sophistry.

If we still followed a Christian prescription for homosexuality we would acknowledge that it is a deeply engrained psychological and moral pathology in character.. and intrinsic evil and mortal sin in practice. We would not persecute it.. but we would not celebrate, affirm and legitimize it as is done now... sending a terrible and confusing message to young people.. and unravelling the primary cornerstone of marriage. Homosexuality and its proselytization ruins lives.

But since our culture no longer has the moral sense to discern good from evil, order from disorder, nature from supernature (moral structure).. we have left ourselves open to the false prophet Mohammed.. to spread his own violent gospel.

All about getting votes. Talk to each group individually and promise them what they want to hear to get elected. Now the fun begins.

That is politics.

Cognitive Dissonance. You need it if you're going to believe the stuff they teach you the church, mosque, hall, etc
