Is Obama the worst president ever?

I wonder how anyone could be the worst president after Bush. (GW) Obama can rest assured that Bush will be the most hated president for the foreseeable future.

I often get to wondering of all the people rating the president, how many are actually qualified to do so. I kind of think maybe it's like getting a turnip salesman to rate an astronaut.

"And what was the problem with Peanut Jim? (Besides the fact that you don't like him)"

I personally like Jimmy Carter. I worked along side Jimmy Carter in Homestead, Florida, in 1994, on a Habitat for Humanity project. Pleasant enough person.

However, his policies caused an 18% inflation, 22% interest rate and about 20% unemployment rate.

As a struggling newly-wed and new home-owner during his Presidency, I was savagely and cruelly affected by his policies (except fot the fact that in spite of him, I managed to stay emplyed). And let us not forget that his weak-kneed foreign policy gave rise to the Ayatollah in Iran which contines to present day. His international reputation was properly put in place when the Iranian thugs released the hostages as soon as Reagan was inagurated, after thumbing their noses at the peanut farmer for 444 days. Also, he always has been and always will be an anti-Semite and sworn enemy of the only democracy and American ally in the middle east, Israel. It is only recently that his bleeding-heart soul-mates of present day try to give this pathetic little hammer-swinger a better and higher stage in history than he deserves.

GW Bush the worst? Carter and Obama - not to mention the father of 45 years of cold war, FDR - will get their proper day of reckoning.

That is the blessing or curse, depending on your biased point of view, the fact that we live in a society that allows free speech.

If you do not rate a politician how can your vote be valid??

We as tax payers are responsible for the fact that our grandchildren will pay for our decisions that we demand from our government and we all have to blame our grandparents for demanding the government of the day to give us a better way of life.

Taxpayers and government is a vicious circle because for every dollar that we pay in taxes we demand a dollar worth of value.

We as taxpayers depend on the government for job creation, security and social programs so we can cope in today’s society.

There are different groups of people that have different ideas on how to make our lives better and they try to get us to vote for them so they can get elected and make the necessary changes.

If you look at the American model for years both the Republicans and Democrats decided to protect the status quo at all costs so nothing really changed.

This last election brought a new president that decided to fix the problems because the status quo concept was just not working.

Will this president be able to make a positive change time will tell, but just doing nothing like past presidents have done just prolongs the problems.

Whenever someone makes the case that we are stealing from our children, it has to be pointed out that our children will steal from their children. This IS how it's been throughout almost all of US history afterall.

Yeah, and that is very sad. So much for the idea of paying forward. Grab what you can while you can and screw the kids.

The question is: how far into the future must we borrow in order fund the present?

There is something deliciously funny about the above, posted by someone with a picture of Pierre Trudeau as their avatar.

Well of course not to mention the fact the kids are each indebted to us to the tune of about $50,000 by the time we've finished raising them.

"With him its taken for granted.Don't pick on old peanut farmers, he was a lousy President, but is a very nice guy."

Let us not forget that Jimmy Carter is also the WORST EX-PRESIDENT.

He goes all around the world bashing his own country and bashing even worse all of America's best allies.

And someone who has worked along side of him, I can say without hesitation that he isn't even a good hammer-swinger.

"How much of this "bashing" is just Carter having an opinion?"

Anyone expressing an OPINION about blacks, females, gays, etc., that is contrary to the prevailing politically correct opinion would be skewered quicker than any dinner guest of Vlad The Impaler.

Carter's opinions, expressed abroad, denigrate the country he once served as President.

Not much could be lower than that.

Funny, how, when discussing the worst President, ever, the name of Jimmy Carter never came up.

Yep, what an SOB that Carter is....
