Was gettin some OT saints out worth the trip to Jesus and God is the question rather than it having to meet your approval or mine or any man. I've been thinking of doing a book on theology. Considering I have a unique outlook of the Bible and I have about 100megs of 'raw data' all i need to do is edit and classify the various texts. Based on threads outside of this site as religion hers is a total wash-out.
Would taking a course in how to get published be worth while or ids there a better method/ A 15v minute telephone conversation would be enough to establish that it unique and explainable even it it takes 300 pages. (medical issues demand I fine a job that I can do while sitting down so an income is more important that people having to have this info rather than it being a salvation issue.
(btw I'm not really expecting a sensible reply on this forum and I haven't raised it anyplace else yet)
I have published three books using lulu.com. They give you a free stencil to format your book and it is free to upload. When ready to print, all you have to pay for is the printing. Cost per unit decreases the more copies you print but you can print as little as 1 copy and as many as you think you can sell. Research your market and blog your buns off. They also have all kinds of info on marketing and promoting your book. They give you a storefront page and list your book on Amazon and Barns & Nobles. Best deal I've found for self publishing.
I doubt the 'stencil would suit my format but I down loaded the large hardcover and will check it out. An e-book would make all the (cross) references super easy to follow along compared to print. Perhaps that could be a 'web extra'.
